Swamp_bucks
Trying to figure out my setup for the season using a hangon. Thinking maybe getting a turkey vest to keep all my extras in and not having to worry about having to put a bag somewhere once im in the tree. Does anyone use a turkey vest during deer season? grampy
I've used a turkey vest in the past. But I find a fanny pack with military surplus LBE straps works better for me. Keeps everything at waist level and out of the way, if I need to draw the bow. And just one clip to take off and hang up within reach while I sit. Hitching post meats
I have the same turkey vest I've had since I was 14 years old. I'm 43 now. I use it every year it is not as fancy and as many pockets but it allows me to carry a few snacks some water and a few other things I just take it off and hang it when I'm up . Works out great for me.
WNYBuckHunter
I just use a small backpack. I have 2 hooks at every stand, plus my bow holder. My backpack goes on one of the hooks. I dont want alot of stuff on my chest or sides that may get in the way of my string or bow, and cause me issues when taking a shot. You never know when you may need to take a shot from an odd position.
The_Real_TCIII
Ive used a Game Plan Gear Leech for a few years and like it, especially with my climber. It has four bungees to attach it to the stand, and then around the tree once im at height

Dont need the vest getting in my way while trying to shoot. Would probably work out better for gun though.
