CCI 209 Magnum Primers

These are recommended for use with Blackhorn Powder but tough to find in stores.  If ordering online,  minimum is 1000 (only need 100) and with hazmat fee = $64.  Anyone use them and have a local source?

IMO any 209 primer the same. That’s crazy you need to order so many and $$

I've used them all with bh209,no difference in ignition as long as your plug is bh209 friendly .

look in the muzzle loader section at Walmart or runnings. I use regular 209 primers and have used the ones designed for muzzle loaders.

Just switched to Blackhorn. I am having no problem with standard CCI primers. They do recommend not using the 209 primers designed for muzzleloaders.

I've been using a federal shot primer and no issues.
