Hunting Dog Photos

Okay, I think everyone enjoys looking at pictures of your favorite hunting partner. Lets see your hunting dog or just house dog. I'll start it off. The first photos are my brother's setter and the last photo is my goofy dog.

here is chester, 10 months old. so october 1 will be his big hunting day. he got hit by a car wed. night, he is doing really good but is skidish now of noises so we'll see.

My favorite one is my avatar, me and Brodie on the beach in RI last summer. the second one is Brodie on point with a rabbit that came into the back yard. I don't usually encourage him to get too excited on game other than pheasant, grouse, etc., but he looked good so I went and got my camera.

  THis is my crew.  The lab is only a year old but he is comming along.  I need to spend more time with him and he would be a great dog.

Took Chester for Chiropractic treatment this morning and what a difference! He has his personality back and wants to play. Think he is still sore but i am thrilled about this.

  What do they do when you take the dog to the ciroprator?  Is it kind of like us humans going?

i wasnt there but my husband described it like a suction cup thing on a pen, i think is what he said. I have to say i wasn't paying too much attention, it was all about chester at that moment. A guy i know who has had it done for his dog told me about it.

my cocker turning into a very well rounded dog so far this will be her 2nd season and has been nailing birds during training. and flushed on just about every outing last year. treed sqiurel and ran a few rabbits don't train her for the fur but don't discourage either. if only i had my wing shooting skills honed up will do better on my end this year forsure

big, i asked last night. was something like a big pen with a rubber point and he pushed it in up and down spine. all i know is that it seemed to have helped so i'm ok with it

There ain't nothing like hunting with a redtail... if you ever get a chance to go out hunting with a falconer and his bird, take it - you'll be amazed.
