Doe permit question

If i sign a doe tag over to a friend and he hunts with me for the day can he give me the tag back at the end of the day?

I think it can only be signed over once and thats it. Would be a good question to email DEC with.

Yes, he can return it to you, or he can give to another hunter (who must then record it in his "DMP tags received" slot. See here:

Gundeck found the right info on the DEC site. The one time I dont look there first.....lol
