burmjohn
Man, every time I see your apple pic's it makes me want to start one up. I'm seriously thinking of starting one in the fall, at least clear an area to start it.
NYBowhunter
Man, every time I see your apple pic's it makes me want to start one up. I'm seriously thinking of starting one in the fall, at least clear an area to start it. As many fruit bearing trees I have, I try to plant a few more each year. This year we put in 6 mulberry trees ,5 more apple trees and a few oaks. I'm always looking at the future for not just myself but for my kids to enjoy. Its a good investment for your land and wildlife. It doesnt take make room to plant apple trees, just ensure they get full sunlight and are fertilized each spring.....good luck.. Dakota Dog
Is that one picture a doe with horns or is that just big brother with little brothers or sisters? Edited September 30, 2011 by Dakota Dog
NYBowhunter
Is that one picture a doe with horns or is that just big brother with little brothers or sisters? Not a doe with horns, just a young buck being foolish...lol...I have noticed that yearling bucks will hang out with either other yearling bucks or with does and fawns....they might be the does offspring from last year??
