Found this guy over the weekend. Was just clinging to cabin and couldn't fly. Pretty cool looking anyone what kind?

Cecropia.  Daughter and I have hatched a few in hatching tent and released them at dusk to give them a chance to get their wings under them and not quick bird food. I’d love to see a Luna moth someday

Just read they are North Americas largest moth. When my brother picked it up it squirted its poisonous blood at him but missed. Says in moth stage they just mate then die. I guess my guy died of an all nighter!
