Does anyone else use the DEC license app?

I've had the app for several years and I really like it.  Just tap on the tag I want to fill and report it easy peasy.  I have a lifetime license and I purchase my ML and archery tags from a sport shop.  In the past a day or two later the ML and archery tags just show up on my app but this year they are not there.  Has anyone else experienced this?  I wonder if it's a glitch with the new DECALS system.

They have been having an issue with the vendor. The app is decent but definitely has had issues when they made the switch. Hopefully they get it sorted out soon. The lady I spoke to said they have been working on it and hopefully a few weeks it will work

I looked into the app a couple yrs ago. Once the app wanted access to all my pics and contacts, I decided against it.  There's know reason they need that.

I spoke with a DEC official by phone recently, and I was told that the app has not yet been updated after they changed the DECALS website.  Its on the docket to be done, but they had no timeline as to when it would be up and running again.

The app should be made available again before the start for deer season. Important to keep in mind is the following: 

-Everyone will need to download the app again. This means people who already have it on their phone will need to uninstall what they have and install it again. 

-Everyone will need to create a new username and password UNLESS they created a new username and password in the Kalkomey system (6/29-present). If they do have a kalkomey username and password they can use that to login to the app once they download it again.

On a related note . I went up to the town hall to buy my lic. yesterday , sign on door not selling hunting / fishing lic. for  some odd reason .

So off to a nearby store that sells them, nope , their printer hasn’t worked for two weeks and the DEC, hasn’t come to fix it . 
 

On my third stop I got it .

App has been updated. Use your new decals info to log in and all licenses/tags should be there.

Big brother and zar cuom o dont need that information.
