What do you make of this?

This pic showed up last week on my trail camera.  Do you think his left side is broke off or is it abnormal growth?

Could go either way from the pic. Do you have any other pix of him from other angles?

I think just young buck that grew abnormal, maybe velvet got messed up.

Sorry I don't and when I checked my cams yesterday, he hasn't come back.
