Buck Sheads

Has anyone been finding any deer sheads yet? I know some of the bucks in WV is have there horns. Just seeing how it is going in other states.

I will be out sunday looking its mid february so there dropped.

I know where to look and about how much area to cover.Its been

a mild winter so I won't stress deer in the area to much.Let everyone know

how it goes.

Remember a mild winter means that the sheds will be eaten by

smaller rodents for their mineral and calcium.It won't effect the

deer as far as stress because of the mild winter.I actually will

be turning over the soil late next month for food plots if the weather

holds out.

Found 3 yesterday in an hour walk. Rochester area. Seen 5 bucks carrying on walk too.

I have been out but havent found any in my area yet. but i did get trail cam pic of a buck with both antlers still the pic was taken yesterday. 2-15-2012

Found my very first one Saturday. A little 2 point on a very heavily used deer trail. Mind you, I've been looking hard for years with not even a speck of bone. It seemed like a a 10 point to me, the way I felt. We had 10 deer in the field outside the house, on Saturday evening, 1 still wearing his headgear.

Found one a few weeks ago. Was out for 3 hours Saturday, found none, but saw a few bucks still packing. Ill be out some more looking for them this coming week and weekend.

Found 1 about 2 weeks ago laying in the apple orchard near where i go hunting. I was out about 2 hours.

I went out last evening.. Walked up on an 8 pointer still with headgear.. There was a bigger bodied deer with him that i believe is a 5 yr old thats dropped already. Hoping to find them after work today..
