Paula
I got my tree stand yesterday, my first stand! I was so excited and that was shot down with missing bolts.

fasteddie
That's odd Paula . I have never had any missing hardware from any of the stands that I have purchased . I would be upset too , if it happened . I believe the hardware that comes with the stand is hardened . Go to a Tractor Supply Store and get the Hardware you need and then contact the Manufacturer . Problem with the Manufacturer is ...... they may be out of the country .
landtracdeerhunter
Happens quite often these days. The last 2 stands we purchased were short. I replace the grade 2 hardware with grade 5 anyways, for a little extra safety. I don't trust the chinese hardware. Counterfiet hardware is also a problem. Finding good U.S.A. hardware won't be found in any TSC, HD, OR LOWES. Edited March 17, 2012 by landtracdeerhunter

ants
Stinks!!! I've ordered a lot of stuff from Sports mans guide and never had a problem. I'm sure they'll make good on it ....if not go to the hardware store and get the right bolts, but make sure they're hardend......(cant cost more than a couple bucks) but try them first.... 0 ) Edited March 19, 2012 by ants
NYBowhunter
I have six stands (ladders, tower, tripod) all from sportsman guide. Twice I had an issue with once a cross support bar missing and another where bolts were missing. In both cases I think it might have been the carriers fault because there were tears in the boxes. In both cases I called sportsmanship guide and no questions asked they sent me replacements. Excellent customer service, you should have no problems getting replacements from them.
