I'd like to hunt with Miranda Lambert. She's a star and she likes to hunt. I'd also like to hunt with Sarah Evans. I don't know if she likes to hunt or not, but I don't really care... ...

I see it as, inside the game farm property the deer belongs to the game farm. Outside the fence he belongs to mother nature and is fair game. The game farm should be alerted though to his escape. That way they can fix their fence. Then again......where is this place??

not my thing. That being said, I have always said I would love to invite a couple to my place and say show me how it is done. Just them and I would give them time to scout etc. Then I could see just how good they are. I doubt they would do anything spectacular. That being said, to me they are "merchadise whores" not hunters. Every other word out of their mouth is I used my such and such gun with a such and such bulllet and a such and such laser finder etc etc. They get free canned hunts to hawk for the outfitter, they get free equipment, and get paid. Good gig yes, my kind of gig no.

As long as there are people who try to buck the system there will be the potential for CWD... as we all know.. some just refuse to play by the rules sometimes...

Well, I guess inspite of all these laws, regulations, restrictions, and good intentions, the unthinkable was still able to happen ..... and did. It appears that we may have dodged the bullet ...... this time.

I couldn't do it. I used to live near one of these farms and everybody in town knows what these deer look like better than their own extended family. Killing an escapee would do nothing for my hunting prowess(ego) or my reputation with the locals. That's probably most important to me. ... if the rut is close to full swing I'm waiting for a 300"er to hop the fence anyhow when it comes to shooting farm bucks!

It would be nice to hunt on Christmas.

The guy planting food plots is doing something legal, and you dumping Acorn Rage is illegal, thats all that really matters in NY. Theres about 15 other copies of this conversation on the site, do we really need to go through it again?

I hope it will be 2012 Oct 1... By the way as a goal this year take a kid hunting to keep getting new hunters into our sport and or if you do not like kids how about taking a grey haired old fart ( 70 ) hunting ( me)
