Man that stinks, if you did wrap it it would take you forever considering all of the smaller pieces of meat you would have to wrap sized for one person. I too would size it accordingly and just smash it with a meat mallet at cooking time. Save yourself some money.1 point

Ive been seeing them all over the place since the middle of the 3rd week of gun season. Bottom line is, you over hunt or over pressure your property, they will leave and find a safe place or find the thickest brush and crawl into it, or the nastiest swamp where people dont go, and only come out at night. If you keep the pressure down, their patterns dont change as much.1 point

Indeed it is. It was my grandfathers, prob has less than 100 rounds through it ! Every time I mention my model 700 6mm, somebody wants to buy it. Hard to get ammo for it but its an amazingly accurate, fast and flat shooting rifle, and has no problem putting a whitetail on the ground! Rare and in mint condition, only goes out on clear days when I'm gonna sit still and far from brush. It will ALWAYS be in the family !1 point
