Congrats! I had the best opener ever!!...too much to tell but at one point I had 5 Toms coming in at once...live hens strolling through...and this boy on the ground...20 #'s...tad over 1in. spurs and a ten in. beard...got him home dropped on picnic table and Toms sounded off where I'd just come from...lol.....Poured all night and most of morning...

Called a nice 22 lb er with 9 in beard for my friend, it was his first spring gobbler!

Be up with my Brother Sat-Mon. We have to lay the floor in the extension and that would complete the job. Putting down ambrosia Maple, great looking floor with a lot of character. Yes we will be hunting every morning! Neighbor has picts of a Tom and Hen mating in the field across from me, taken about 3 weeks ago.

Best way I go about it is by going to the DEC Google Earth interactive page and download the "DEC Lands" file. 1st you need to install Google Earth. Then install the DEC Lands file. When you open up google earth, and you check to display the DEC Lands, it'll color highlight all the lands. My ten yr old daughter had one of the boys in her class room smack her butt and my wife, his parents and the principle had a come to jesus meetin in the principles office the next day. My wife looked like a rabid dog yelling at his parents and by the time we left the mom and the kid were bawling. Apperently word got around because the boys dont bother her anymore. And a few of them got moved to other classes. You can get things done when you threaten to kill and bury peoples kids where they will never find them if they even look at your daughter again.

Its not the average hunter you have to worry about, when you open it to the public, you have to account for the lowest common denominator.

I believe MY reason would be a matter of choice. I would like to see that everyone has the choice in the manner of hunting devices, without discrimination. Second, would be education. Educate the sportsmen/women that we all need to unite together, and to become one strong community .
