  1. Its all about knowing how to drive them. They arent sports cars, and they arent cushy riding mall crawlers.

  3. I don't blame the union for trying to get the most fo rtheir members. I blame the ploiticians and unimformed voters for allowing them to get it through.

  4. I read all the entries on this post and I came to one conclusion. Seems the Bow Hunters Assn. thinks they have the right to make decisions for all hunters. I take exception that this organization speaks for me. I have been hunting deer with a recurve and compound bow for 40 plus years and do not own a crossbow. Would like to see crossbow be included into the archery season. Just my opinion

  5. NFA-ADK brings up a very good point about stats. Been saying this all along. The definitions of hunting related accidents are clearly written to keep New York one of the safest states. Others states include all hunting related accident-death, reguardless of circumstance. It bothers me to show public," a false sense of security", that stat numbers would be much higher if definitions were written as other states have them.

  6. So you are predicting something will happen in NYS that has not happened in any other state where xbows have been added? Good to see you are using available facts and info in forming your opinion.

  8. I've been studying the picture some more, and I'm pretty sure it is a mountain lion with big ears. Those big-eared mountain lions are fairy rare, but have been seen in the area.

  9. Might as well get a climber if your carrying in and out and then you wont even have to worry about the steps. If you dont have far to walk, that would be your best option. There are several models that weigh 20 lbs or less and are easy to use. Also the local yahoos wont know where you are hunting and you might be able to suprise one of them.
