  1. Yes showing up daylight hours. Honestly I haven't seen so many deer up here in a long time. 4 sets of triplets in the area. It's pretty cool the one set that visits my property are getting real big. Mom is doing a good job with them. I've noticed spots are fading on them. Thanks

  6. New York was one of the few states that required a back tag, but only in the Southern Zone (Northen Zone and Catskill Park did not require back tags). It's unclear to me why there were differences between Northern and Southern Zone and it never made any sense to me. I'm glad to see New York "catching up" with other states, but, like most others, it never really bothered me to wear a back tag. I did find it annoying when it scraped against the tree when shifting around in my treestand but, otherwise, it was never a big deal.

  8. Just went to Davis and renewed my license; so, they give you all paper, even the tags!! Howre you supposed to prevent them from being damaged carrying em around throughout the season (unless you tag out first day, that is )? On the bright side, though, Got all of my requested DMP's this year-first time ever

  13. Cycles do start early and go late. On Long Island there is a January shot gun hunt. Fawns with spots on them come into the check station. This is Long Island and the Biologist said the cycle is a bit screwed up on Long Island.
