I was originally going to buy this, but couldn’t figure out which hooks to use. What do you use? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I’m new to the saddle hunting game this year, but not new to mobile setups. With climbers and hang ons I always used a screw in bow holder and another small screw in hanger for my stuff. I’d like a strap style hanger with hooks for when I’m facing the tree using the saddle. I ordered a strap with hooks from Muddy and it’s taking forever. What have you guys used that you like? Same. Got 200’s and 150’s. Hope to get some real experience with them this year. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Lots of Elites here! I’m new to them this year and loved mine so much I bought a backup. Bow: Elite Remedy 70lb 31” draw Arrow: Sirius Orion 250 spine, 45gr insert, AAE Max Stealth 3 fletch with 150gr. Grizzly Stik Samurai TAW 515 gr. Hamskea Epsilon rest Spot Hogg Fast Eddie Triple Stack sight I may sight in the backup for my Sirius Vulcan 250 with 200gr. Grizzly Stik Samurai for a TAW of 652gr. They’re fun but shoot with a rainbow trajectory. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Someone looking to get into bow hunting should jump on this. For a little more scratch, I’d sell it the way it’s pictured. I’d keep it as my backup, but I’m a 31” draw and this maxes at 30”. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I’ll share my experience and hope you find some perspective from it. I’ve been bow hunting for about 20 years. My first bow was set up by a mentor of mine who owned an archery shop and I didn’t even know what draw length was. I shot it a ton, killed some deer, and upgraded as fast as a teenage kid could. Fast forward about 10 years and 4 bows later. I realize every time I draw my bow, I have to bend my left arm to get the bowstring anywhere near my face. I adjust my (at the time) PSE Bow Madness 3G to its max, and it’s better, but my left arm is still quite bent. I shot this way for about 10 years believing it is correct, but wondered why I never felt very comfortable with a bow, lacked confidence, and developed terrible target panic. I ordered a brand new Bowtech Solution (which maxes at 30”) and set it up last year. It feels great, except my left arm is still bent and I’m doing the “draw the bow and move the whole deal to my face” thing. Long story long…I’m a 31” draw and it cost me a bunch of time and money to finally figure it out. The worst part is, two different bow shops didn’t say anything when I had work done on bows that I was shooting way too short. I didn’t know, and they didn’t say anything. I absolutely do not blame them, but I’m including it for a reason. I go through this to say, only you know what is comfortable. Your left arm should not be locked out, but it shouldn’t be bent a bunch either. You shouldn’t have to adjust anything from full draw to anchor. Try different lengths and see what feels right. Most people my height are between 29-30” so I thought there’s no way I’ve been doing this wrong for so long. I was. Maybe post a pic or two of you drawing your bow and we can take a look. Like new Bowtech Solution. Right hand, 70lbs. Bought in July or August of last year and taken on about 5 sits. Would prefer local pickup, but would be willing to ship if needed. $775. Have a QAD HDX Bowtech drop away rest to go with it for $95 more. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

First Deer On Camera Ever… Age?
onlybrowning replied to ridgerunner88's topic in Trail Camera Pictures
I’m going 1.5 as well. Not really 1.5 yet, but you know what we are getting at. Front shoulders are too narrow to go 2.5 for me. Headgear, especially at this stage is generally not a great indicator in my opinion. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

Which Henry .22 to buy?
onlybrowning replied to left field's topic in Guns and Rifles and Discussions
I did PRK in 2008 or so. Was 20/10 for many years. I had/have astigmatism as well. My right (dominant) eye is now about 20/25 and I notice it, especially hunting. Really don’t want to go back to contacts or glasses. Try a peep. If you don’t like it, mount a scope. I like my Henry .22 for plinking as well. They’re fun. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
Any WSM ammo is very expensive now.
onlybrowning replied to Grouse's topic in Guns and Rifles and Discussions
Used to have a .325WSM and loaded the 200 grain Accubond ahead of a bunch of H4350. Was a great load. Can’t recall shooting a deer with it, but did shoot my first black bear with it. Kinda miss that rifle. Might still have some of those bullets left. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
Title says it. I’d prefer to buy just brass, but would entertain loaded ammo for a reasonable price. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
