  1. Beautiful. I am on the list for the new Tuffhead Evolution. I ordered some Grizzly Stik Samurai 200’s just in case they don’t come through in time. Have you purchased a leather strop yet? I have the KME sharpener, but need to get a strop. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Those look like Beman ICS Whiteouts. I loved using those. Can’t find them anymore. I wish there were more offerings in white. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Nice. Which Cutthroats did you go with? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. I use one early bow season when it’s warm. I too have gotten a bit too much of the “smoke” one time putting it under my seat on the foot platform. Now I hang it next to me instead. They work well. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. That dog’ll hunt! Looks great. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. I love the BAR Shorttrac. The model is the Mark 3. Same design as far as I can tell. All of mine are absolute tack drivers. The A bolts and BLR’s sit a lot more now. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Stuff starting to happen here. Corn, cucumbers, peas, peppers, and tomatoes and pumpkins. I was way behind and got the ground plowed with old 3 bottom Allis chalmers trip plow, then disked and planted over Memorial Day Weekend. I know everyone says tomatoes and peppers gotta get started inside, but I spend much more time on my deer food plots than my human food plots. Got about 4 hours in it all in. 8. Definite teacher shortage right now. She’ll be able to find something that she really likes. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. It’s not a tooooma! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Thank you! I reached out to the seller. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Any friends who have a .223 bolt gun to borrow? Not to hunt with, but a stepping stone. Louder report, but very, very mild recoil. Then move up to .243, .257 Bob, .260, or even 7mm-08 as others have suggested. Plugs and muffs will go a long way too, in addition to form. A lead sled might be a good thing for the introduction too. 12. I’m seeing that now. Makes me cringe to think how many I sold not too long ago now that could sell for triple what I got. I remember shooting NRA 4 position small bore and using a 20x Unertl scope. They were considered “fine” but were often traded out for newer, even Chinese stuff. They bring crazy money now. This was only about 15-17 years ago. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. It’s for an older Savage 99. I’ve got a bunch of matte VX3’s, but I’d like a gloss finish for this one if I can find a good deal. Everything I’ve seen on EBay seems to be pricey. I’d entertain the compact line, Vari-X II, Vari-X III, or even a fixed power. Hoping to find one that someone’s had sitting around for a while that they’d part with. 14. I’m looking for gloss finish Leupold. Prefer Vari-X III or ultralight but will entertain others. Thanks. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. If you want new, I’ve had good luck with titan attachments. Palletforks.com I found my 6’ set sitting out for sale, but they can typically be found on Craigslist. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. Where do you get your fertilizer? I’ve gone the custom mix route before, but it was very expensive. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. I was on the quest for a decent SxS in 20 gauge. Ended up scratching the itch with CZ Bobwhites in 28, 20, and 12. They’re really nice for the money. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. That’s great! I hope I didn’t offend you at all saying I’d be interested in buying it. I read it was your grandpa’s and knew it wouldn’t be fit sale. Was more trying to reiterate that it’s a cool truck. Enjoy it! They’re a lot easier to work on than the newer ones! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. That thing is in great shape! Those 4.3 pushrod v6’ers are great! If you wanna sell it, I’m interested! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. Most is pretty opened up for light and the soil is pretty good. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. I don’t have a lot of experience with other stuff, but I loved it. Used it for the first time before they changed to name to Fusion. I really only went to straight clover this frost seeding time to give me more herbicide options than with the chicory in there. Thinking I’ll overseed some other goodies in spots later this year too. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. I posted earlier about my two larger clover plots, but I am also planning for small kill plots and trail plantings this spring as well. What would be some recommendations for this application? These would be more about trying to encourage deer to stop and hang out for a minute or at least go by this way on the way to the destination plots. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. I buy some Chinese chestnut from tractor supply each year. This year I ordered a bunch of stuff from Chief River Nursery. Should be shipping soon I suppose. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. I am frost seeding whitetail institute clover into two stands (one 5 acres, one about 4) of what was Fusion (chicory and clover) that was planted 2 years ago. I’ve only ever mowed it, never applied any chemicals to it. What would be the best to spray this plot with once it dries up enough in a month or so to drive a tractor on it? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  25. Been using Aliengear for a long time now. I wear their belts (Bigfoot Gun Belts) too. I’ve tried a lot and like these the best. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
