  1. Please explain your thought process here. I'm thinking like this: Anatomical sex and gender are one and the same, regardless of what you want to pretend. Forget the world of make believe for a minute. If you were born with male genitalia, you are a male, and vice versa. If you shave and put on a dress, that does not make you a woman, you are a guy in a dress. If you have IT removed, that does not make you a woman, you are a guy that had IT removed. Just because you want to "PRETEND" you are something you are not, does not mean I have to pretend with you. If by sex and gender have different meanings you mean to say that gender is how you are born and sex is something you do, preferably with a partner, then we can agree.
  2. Redundant pumps are always a good idea
  3. What size is your discharge line (the pvc you mentioned)? I would look for a pump with similar sized outlet. an external check with respect to the motor, bigger is better. Don't shy away from a 1/2 or even 3/4 hp pump, if you can swing it. It will pump more, faster and with less strain on the motor. I was never a fan of the external float switches. They can hang up on something, usually the well and render the pump inoperable.
  4. I swear I still get Doe fever. Does that count? lol
  5. I use a Browning Gold Semi for duck/goose with great success and a Benelli Nova Pump for turkey (which I have never taken a turkey with, it just sits in the safe lol)
  6. Glad you're alright! I picked up a Ruger Super Redhawk Alaskan in 454 Casull for just such an event. Hopefully it never happens.
  7. I had a bare encounter right here on Long Island once. Even to this day, when I think about it I shudder! I stepped out on the upstairs deck about 10 years ago and there she was, my almost 70 year old neighbor bare naked by her pool.
  8. I would make meatballs out of that dog. I hope you heal fast.
  9. This, I agree with 100% As to the 1st part of your retort, I think we will have to agree to disagree. A. You cannot vaccinate against a virus, only bacteria. How many countless people do you know that get the flu shot only to get the flu? B. The media touted this as the cure-all. "Stay safe. Stay healthy. End the virus." C. There has not been enough testing. Who is to say that everyone that got vaxxed won't be dead in 2 years time? Is this going to be the next "If you or a loved one...." commercial? We can all agree that this virus sucks. Most of us can agree that we were lied to about the vax. Maybe not you, but with respect, you are entitled to be wrong.
  10. None of the above, thankfully. He def sounded bad on the phone. That is neither here nor there. The fact remains that he was vaxxed and boosted and now has it.
  11. Makes no sense. I hear turkeys every morning from my deck and actually had them in the yard on several occasions but can't take them from my neighborhood. The few times I have set out to take a bird, I didn't even see one. Admittedly, I have no clue about turkey hunting. I just hope to see some birds one day while they are in season and I am in my stand, unless I get an invite from someone that knows what they are doing like @blackbeltbill that can show me the ropes and help me get one.
  12. Not sure if you care, but one of my guys, Sal A is out this week after testing positive for covid after getting all 3 shots. Really effective, huh?
  13. I subtracted 1 day for the 1st. Does your season start in September?
  14. Also not a collector but have accumulated quite a few. Several Benchmades, Cold steel, even an Uzi. Now if we were talking watches....those I collect.
  15. Can we limit how cold the COLD can actually be while we are at it?
  16. This will have no effect on either my hunting nor my fishing by boat
