Here’s what I don’t understand...we are all in the same boat, aren’t we? We all face the same virus, we all have the same president, we are all wanting this to be over, we are all Americans. Regardless of how well Trump is handling this or how inept Biden is, we all have to deal with this nonsense. Do we need to fight with each other? How does that help anything or anyone? My daughter contracted this crap while trying to help others with it. To say this one sucks or that one would have done a better job is BS. You cannot say that with any degree of certainty, its all conjecture. You are basically arguing over something as dumb as who would win in a fight...Bruce Lee or Jet Li. Just dumb.

In all fairness, this is totally unprecedented. The man tried to warn everyone long ago but the democrats are so hell bent on fighting him on everything and nothing, that they told everyone Corona was no big deal go hang out like normal. Trump may be a bull in a china shop, but he is Albert Einstein next to Biden and Pelosi is an enemy to all Americans.

This depends on where you are and where you go. There are several spots near me, Riverhead in particular, where the DEC posts very large signs stating “Deer Hunting in Progress, Hunters only” or something to that effect. I can take a pic for you in the Fall (if you remind me, after all memory is the third thing to go, I forget the first two)

They blank and components arrived today. When I looked at the blank, the carbon fiber weave is sooo pretty, I considered not giving it to him lol. I will be starting tomorrow. Pics to follow.

Down here there are a lot of hunters on public land. It is typically first come, first served. In other words, there have been times when it becomes a race to get to that good spot. I try to treat other hunters the way I would like them to treat me...If I can tell someone hunts an area, I find another. I usually leave a stand or two in the woods, but I chain them to the tree, not everyone is as nice as we are. If I was one of those dirtbags, I would have hundreds of stands in my garage and cameras too. I used to have a KILLER spot (pun intended) on private land where the deer population was unbelievable but the owner sold that property so I am back to hunting public. I was invited to join a club that hunts nothing but private in an effort to control the number of deer on various pieces of property. They do a lot of nuisance permit stuff. I may join soon. Having said all this, hunting on public is a much harder challenge which makes taking a big buck all the more rewarding.

Update...been a hectic day today. Results came back this morning. My daughter tested positive for Corona. Now her hubby and kids all have to be tested. I cant help but think it’s my fault. I had some N95 masks and gave them to her. Her supervisor saw her with it and decided to pull her off her unit and out with the Corona ppl. I know its wrong, but part of me is praying to meet up with him. Been a long time since i put my training to good use and now I’m itching to clobber him.

I couldn’t help it. I got Chinese Foo last night. It wasn’t the place I would normally go to, in fact I think it was terrible, but I finally had some.

They are calling for 15-30 mph wind today. Pretty calm out right now. Let’s see what the wind is doing after my class today (Kung Fu in the park, invitation only, group of 5, 15-20 ft distance, forms only: Siu Lum Tao, Chum Qu, Moi Fa, Dandao (broadsword)). I hope the wind stays calm so I can get out on the lake. There are schoolie stripers in the bay, but I have been stuck on trying for trout. Need to catch some so I can move on lol. John boat is ship shape, got a new ultra light and some lures....now I need some trout. Need to kill the skunk.

I guess its just one of those things you have to get used to. For me, this method is much preferred.

Update...the docs thought she was showing enough of the symptoms so they tested her for Covid and gave her a breathing treatment. Fingers crossed...update to follow.
