  1. I used a TRU Ball wrist strap with a buckle and caliper for the longest time. PITA to text a buddy because it was strapped over my glove. Tried to strap onto wrist then put on glove but the release hit the phone making noise more than once, plus the glove was less comfortable and it def sacrificed some warmth with the gap it created. I went to a TRU Ball thumb release with a caliper and basically leave it connected to my knock loop while on stand. Much better IMO. I keep the wrist strap in my pack as a back up...just in case. I didn’t have to move my peep or resight tho. Just some practice to find the appropriate anchor point. I have actually found it more accurate with the thumb release as my elbow position has changed from below my anchor to above. Get a cheap one and shoot with it. If you like it, consider a better one. If you don’t, keep for emergency purposes.
  2. I tried to make my own disinfectant but it came out as Jell-O shots.
  3. Ok, as usual, my wife has trouble conveying a clear thought. My daughter is going to the doc so they can see how bad she is to determine if they are gonna test her. Thanks babe for your ever present clarity. Am I the only one that needs a wife dictionary?? I swear she thinks I am a mind reader.
  4. She said she does. The docs are not sure if they are gonna test her. WTF
  5. My daughter works as a CNA and has been working with Covid patients. Now she is home with a fever and dry cough. Doctors said they have to see how bad her symptoms are before she can be tested. Smh. Also, she has a 1 y/o daughter at home.
  6. Great thread. I can offer help if needed. I am in need of some fishing weather. Can someone help? Super windy down here for the remainder of this and the beginning of next week.
  7. I told my wife a while back that i was gonna rescue a dog from the pound when my 2 aren’t around anymore. She tried to remind me that they are getting old now and its almost time to get that “used” dog. She couldn’t get the words out for pound dog and now i think its the cutest mistake. Sooo, one day i will have a used dog lol
  8. Personally, I’m not into meat in the can. Canned bread is another story.
  9. It takes a fairy special type of guy to enjoy meat in the can lol
  10. Got the email today...order shipped. Should arrive Fed Ex on Monday.
  11. Keep your distance from everyone and wash your hands a lot.
  12. What do you like about them over perch?
  13. I have to check the local regs so I know what’s up. I always seem to catch them at this one spot, even when not trying. I know another spot a bit to the East that has a bunch of yellow perch. All my local lakes are stocked with trout and 90% of the ppl that fish here go to the salt, so there is very little pressure on the lakes. I really need something to do.
  14. I have never taken a fish out of a lake. Always put them back. I go in the salt for dinner but want to try something new.
  15. What kind of dogs are those? Roans? Never heard of them. They hunt great. Did it take much training or were they natural hunters? I am looking to get a bird/rabbit dog but have no idea how to train them for that. Come, sit, stay, do your business outside is about all I can muster.
  16. Can anyone tell me if bluegill are good eating? I have a local lake FULL of em. What would you say taste better: bluegill or yellow perch?
  17. @Biz-R-OWorld Booo!! That belongs on the political thread
  18. Does she have any more she wants to “toss in the lake” lol
  19. Looks very similar to my 1941 WWII Luger. Total score!
  20. I have never used a biscuit. Had drop away from day one. Wouldn’t want anything else.
  21. Hahaha. That would be funny. Does anyone know how to catch an elephant? Lol
  22. Out of likes. Sounds like a real good day
