  1. I had just started looking into a bike trip there, if it rains like that then i will not do it. I seen a show last month about moose accidents and the amount in Newfoundland is unreal. I believe they said up to 800 a yr but do not remember the fatalities. My husband thought that should have been enough to change my mind, but no its the rain. Best of luck to you and can't wait to see pictures and hear any stories
  2. I was told summer was rain season there, is that right?
  3. They sell one or two of these products in tractor supply and they have it with the feed
  4. big, i asked last night. was something like a big pen with a rubber point and he pushed it in up and down spine. all i know is that it seemed to have helped so i'm ok with it
  5. i wasnt there but my husband described it like a suction cup thing on a pen, i think is what he said. I have to say i wasn't paying too much attention, it was all about chester at that moment. A guy i know who has had it done for his dog told me about it.
  6. That is the only GM i have been in. when they first opened it was great, i was there 2 yrs ago for boots that i wanted other than that i don't go there.
  7. Took Chester for Chiropractic treatment this morning and what a difference! He has his personality back and wants to play. Think he is still sore but i am thrilled about this.
  8. i didn't feel it either
  9. i have seen that show and like him. he also raised pigs once and talked about it on that show
  10. here is chester, 10 months old. so october 1 will be his big hunting day. he got hit by a car wed. night, he is doing really good but is skidish now of noises so we'll see.
  11. everyone has reasons for hunting and for those of us that hunt for meat know you can't eat the rack. and for the meat that we have gotten over the yrs have paid for what we use or wear. i will be proud to bring me home no matter the size of the rack or button or spikes, any deer!
  12. i for some reason have it in my head that doe meat is better, not as tuff as bucks. if you process your own meat its cheaper to hunt than go to a store. beside who doesn't like killing what they are going to eat.
  13. but you shoot the does only then how do they reproduce? shoot only bucks then how do they reproduce? rack or meat?
  14. I know alot of people who hunt just for the meat, myself included. one guy will only shoots bucks no matter the size of rack as long as he has his meat for the yr. He only gets 1 does tag every yr and never uses it. others i know will shoot what ever they can to get meat. i know of 2 that hunt for the racks and don't care about the meat at all. i know one guy who will just kill any deer and doesn't eat the meat just because his wife doesn't like it. there are all kind of hunters and i think as long as the meat doesn't get wasted who cares what others shoot.
