Really depends on how soon you remove them. If they have been on you for 24hrs or more you and you have a visible bulls eye rash, you need antibiotics.

I got bit right after thanksgiving and it buried itself deep. Couldnt even get the whole sucker out. Still carry the scar or bite mark. If you have a red scar the size of dime you need anti biotics. The doctor gave me a 2 week dosage and i now still get leg pain for no reasons and wake up with a headache.

Remington 360 Buckhammer

I saw their ad as well. Didnt get the whole greenlight concept, but whatever. Seems like they just wanted to compete with 350 legend which is also a good 200yd cartridge. -
Just a theory: Its a natural transition as most households moved into urban/suburban life style , they moved away from self sustenance and having their own livestock and gardens. Trapping and predatory control is almost non existent. Coyote population went unchecked and grew into areas so much so that they are now in city limits in Rochester. Last year a Canadian wolf crossed the St. Lawrence and was shot in NY. Guessing more are on their way.

NYS gun laws in action
suburbanfarmer replied to Nomad's topic in Gun and Hunting Laws and Politics Discussions
I understand most users have left this forum, but seems ATF just changed directions and now all braces or even ar15 pistols are outlawed by May 2023 Maybe @Nomad will chime back in and advise who or what it impacts.. -

Bought new Crossfire crossbow scope ?
suburbanfarmer replied to luberhill's topic in General Chit Chat
If the scope caps would catch on brush, than IMHO its too thick to take a shot at deer. Mail them to me if you dont want/like them -
Seems to have been dead a long time..nice finds

They have a purpose during snow/rain when you have it hanging on a tree, very silent to flip open when you are ready to shoot. If you are concerned with jump shooting, when you load the xbow just flip caps open for your walk in. Its not that complicated. -
Just make sure its around 55-60 degrees when you paint it. Helps with adhesion

I love a blued gun with a gloss walnut stock but after seeing sun reflect my buddies gun from his tree stand almost 400yd away like a signaling mirror; i wont be seen in the woods with anything shiny like it. His gun looked almost like chrome reflecting the sun. I wish i should have taken a picture that day.

I have the vortex and the redfield crossbow rangefinder(discontinued) I prefer the redfield, its dead accurate with custom bolts out to 60yards.
