i would be more than happy to take 4-6 doe. The population of doe is way down where i have access. At best a doe with 2 fawns.. no groups of 6- 8 in 8h or 8n where I can hunt

Was out at 2pm..too windy and trees/branches crashing in the woods, went to the field edge and bumped 2 in the thickets. Almost at the end they came out in the neighbor's field. At least saw some deer -

They start breaking from the top and then just splinter and split if you let them stand too long -

Video mode is your friend, yes it chews batteries but you get so much more info -
Lately it seems one sees or hear about more deer in the suburbs than out in the country/hills/farmland I remember when a doe herd would be 8-10 heads and multiple groups on the farm. Now you are lucky to see 4 together in farm country until after the season when they yard up.

I have a 2013 tasco from Walmart, it has never left the field and still works fine. Sometimes one gets lucky.. In the mean time i have had 3 moultrie, 1 browning & bushnell die after 1 yr warranty was over -

Congrats on the freezer fillers but your example is now an anomaly and sadly no longer the majority -
As they say - Its a dying sport Most of the new generation likes instant gratification and prefers warm rooms and video games

For the cost of the xbow and then the headaches , I dont think the 500fps has the ROI vs a $400xbow doing 410fps

yeh the scorpyd 175 were known to chew out the serving. One guy on crossbownation started dbl serving and that was the saving grace along with graphite stick to keep it slick.

Hopefully you recover soon with minimal symptoms. -
Some of Seneca White deer have jumped the fence and have bred with the regulars. As such Romulus area often gets to see more piebald deer.

Most of us dont have 100s of acres and the pressure sure moves deer out , as such when we dont see them on our micro parcels in all essence they have gone nocturnal on our back 40. -

Nothing seen but on the drive back , had 2 run across the rd. Thought about bumper hunting but the $500 deductible crushed that thought instantly. -

Its always the people and moments we remember that we strive to recreate, maybe expand the club and take in more members with annual fees in sweat equity.. just a thought
