The dive bombs seem pretty strong but not hunting much in late season, 3 hours of work for 1 greasy goose. Still have a 6 pack of floaters for confidence dekes. In late duck season. We manage to get a few on water. Southern zone is 5 birds late season but hour drive for me. My lease down there has been quiet for last couple winters.

I'll take the single if they want to play durring duck days, but we don't even set up for them after September in ny anymore unless we are following some bands around.

Same, rut scouting? I'm always hunting sign if that's what this post is asking?

Not if but when - You will get Covid

I wonder If I have avoided it because of the vaccine? Or booster? Any thoughts. Lollol. I piss all over but I don't occupy the same bathroom as women except at home. Both parties suck in our system. Putin is a jerk too. Inflation sucks. Lots of lazy people not working. Living wage is a joke. Global warming. Gas prices ridiculous, now more corn in it. Cant find ammo. Gubments taking my machine guns. Nothing is made to last anymore. These posts are insanely repetitive, same guys feeling the same way every week. You know why we post stuff like this? Cause we can, we live in the best country on the planet, enjoy it fellas and ladies. Folks are all wasting precious hunting and fishing time. Let's hold hands cross party lines and shoot stuff in the face, or at least catch up some trout dinner! Stay cool pony boy!!!! -
Up north gun is my guess, i should just look. Lol

I switched to all silos, I went out so many times with guys that cleaned up with them and they are so easy to deal with. You can put 7 dozen out in just a few minutes and pick em up the same. Being on the x is key and later in the season bigger the spread usually. Just copy what you see.

Is this the southern zone? Good shoot!!!!

I'm in ithaca area. Same boat, found some ll's and browns this year but no bows yet. Hot hot still. Deer season has me ate up with the dumbass until I punch that tag. Plus ducks are still around. I appreciate the offer. What lake are you fishing out of?
-
Now that's a day out!

Lol, not especially. Who is this?

I spent some time fishing near Hancock and deposit when I was younger, even used to go out for shad runs. Fished around roscoe and I think it was called the beaverkill? Always seemed like beautiful water but nothing really blew me away. I'm really lucky that where I live/grew up we have tributaries to the finger lakes that have llsalmon, rainbows, browns, and even Lakers sometimes. Also many clean clear "hillcountry" streams that hold nice browns, and some brook trout if your lucky!

Anyone seeing these Chinese Crossbows?
Kmartinson replied to Gobbler Chaser's topic in CrossBow Hunting
Bowtech openly admitted to desalination issues, replaced the items and fixed the problems. -
Is hunting becoming a rich man's sport?
Kmartinson replied to josephmrtn's topic in General Chit Chat
It's happening with the elk out west as we speak -
You will get it done in the 2nd week every year. Then save a week for gun....

Anyone seeing these Chinese Crossbows?

I know that bowtech had limb issues in the past, they replaced any bow that had problems and are problem free for a few years now? I never owned or shot one before, they are pretty awesome. -

I have an Excalibur and it's awesome. My bowtech is awesome also, why don't you think bowtech will improve the xbow? -
I think you see it more when it's cool, I think it happens in smaller areas when it's hot but on the same days imo.
-
I used to try to pin it down but I started to feel it happens at the same time every year. being on this forum for a few years helped me with this thought. If you look historically the ny harvests thread seems to be most active november 5-15, with most of them 7-11. So I no longer see a better time. I have however seen breeding behavior from 10/25 til January, and sometimes the weather influences the sightings durring rut but I don't see it later or earlier anymore. Dec 1-5 can be pretty interesting also in low presure areas.

I like it

All of my cell cam experiences are simple.... Set cam up get pictures..... Action starts picking up, cameras need a reset or update. Frustrating
