    Well I believe they do have something extra in their makeup. Although your spot on I have done kinda the same with my captive herd. Say if I want to move a few deer from pen to pen and have to get around them to do it if I don’t look at them while they stand 20-30 feet away from me and pretend I’m just walking on by they will stand there and watch me. If I look at them while doing that they seem to get the jidders per se and will take off. But of course every one of them are different.

    Yup. They will know. And you will need to follow them to their next choice.

    Not sure about pain as they have no problem sticking them into brush or even using the fence at times to get the velvet off, Then they eat it. I will say that they transform into a little different attitude after they lose the velvet. And they sure enjoy the taste of the blood that comes out. They will just rub their racks down their sides and then stand there forever licking themselves.

    Yup. Same here. Ended up running up to the Town to get them. Now all I have to do is copy this piece of paper 5 times and have unlimited about of buck and doe tags. Thanks Ny State!!

    Exactly what I do. Make no remarks in useless Karate posts or posts about what you might drink for alcohol on a nightly basis. On A Hunting Forum. But I will make a post like that when I am talking about a Hunting site. And I can promise you I am far from alone in those thoughts. Maybe we are at that point where you could take some of your own advice.

    Not sure how you got that out of reading that post. What it really says is that it’s an enjoyment being on this site WITHOUT all the useless banter. Endless You Tube vids and the likes. Maybe take a double take at the post.

    True That. Seems those that did not feel the need to go anywhere live life off the computer and does not feel the need to tell the world what they do on a daily basis. Pop in for a few minutes, maybe engage in a quick convo and then back to real life. Not put up endless You Tube vid’s or make personal pages telling your every move everyday. You do realize that people have been saying this site was going bye bye forever now and even with no new members here we are. Yes, Enjoy for sure.

    This site will not be going away anytime soon. Continue to enjoy. You will no longer see a bunch of clutter like what kind of beer someone is drinking. Most of the members left here were never ones that lived on the site daily. And it’s so nice not to see the useless banter posted daily.

    He is a beauty for sure. Just shows what we have for genetics in areas of the state if people would just let them get some age. As far as behind fence I have a pile that are bigger and score more but finding a clean 8pt gets tough. Always seems to have an extra point showing up here and there. I have a few good 8’s showing up on the Cam’s so far and even one of them as you can see has split brow’s on one side. Let them go… Let them grow!!!

    Love this time of year. Finding two or three of the top in my areas and be on a mission for nothing less. It’s all about the challenge for me.

    Finally found a morning I could get out back and enjoy a sunrise. Busy spring planting and building pen’s keeps time tight. Perfect Morning!
