The front door was also in Her mind set I said we need to order that just to get more time in the woods.Women are crazy no doubt.We spent more in one day for the stuff she wanted than what I have spent in twenty+years of hunting.

This is what happens when you take the wife shopping.Not only do we go get carpet we come home with another project has been purchased now the Kitchen floor looks bad.I guess this happens all the time but why durring the hunting season.

Best day so far saw 3 deer thinking mom and fawns not sure realy to thick.Off to purchase new carpet the Honey do list is getting out of control.Next time out will be Thursday Goodluck all. -

I never did care for the bandsaw for venison also the only deer ever taken to have butchered the roasts still were not even cleaned I had to remove tallor and the silver skin.Never again do my own and know it is my Deer.

How much salt and what kind to use?I do not use any salt/sugar at all have in house but just do not use it.

Anyone brine their turkeys?Got a 14lbs bird that I want to put in the smoker and looking for brine ideas.the last one I did was good but very dry smoked for 6.5 hours at 245 deg,s .Thinking on some apple juice/orange combo.
