I'd organize & fund, pulled pork & rib cooking competitions, outside / upwind of some mosques.

If I want to leave a bullet on MY DAMN DASH BOARD, I don't need to explain it to you.
-
Here's the card they send you, once you've started sending tails to them. As you can see, they aren't worth much. I think we sent then 60 - 70 last time.
-
It haven't sent them since last year, so I don't exactly remember. We just shook the salt off them, put them in a Wegmans bag, & stuffed them in as small a box as possible. They don't weigh anything, really. It was cheap to ship. I still came out ahead, after they paid me. You know, it may have even been a large envelope we sent them in last time.
-
I do it. We've got about 35 to send right now. I'll wait for the end of the season. You don't get much, but I think it's worth it.

Crosman Airbow, $849 air-powered arrows @ 450 FPS
Skillet replied to Core's topic in General Hunting
Yeah, & a gun doesn't shoot arrows or broadheads. This is the inbred, bastard offspring of the two. Cool weapon! I like it, but couldn't justify buying one. -
Thanks Vince. I'll pass then.

Hey Biz, make good use of that MENSA membership, & throw out a ballpark score for that cat, would ya?

I know several MENSA members. Dumber than a bag of hammers.

No, it's his ears. GW looked like one, too. It's just a bonus that he craps in his hands and throws it at the American people. I'm sorry that you feel guilty for being white, but please point out where I said anything about it being the fact that he is black. -

Anyone familiar with that part in "Titanic", where the ship is listing real bad, and about to go under, but the band is still playing? Just wondering. -

Mornin' Virg. Truth hurts don't it? Many feel the way I do, & more of us are growing the balls to say so every day. KENYAN. BORN. MONKEY. -
NYC has a whopping 66 assembly districts! Thoughts?

My comment wasn't directed at you Mike. I'm not arguing the validity of what you're saying, either. What you're trying to accomplish is a service to NY hunters. I was trying to point out the hypocrisy among the lefties on the site. I apologize if I derailed the thread. -

It's beautiful that you can't correctly punctuate your insult of my writing style. -

Not at all, uptown. Not sure what would have given you that impression. You and the rest of the dbag libs, can follow the head dbag, & all his dbag buddies, right into oblivion. Carry on. -

That kenyan born monkey isn't MY president. F**k him, f**k his executive orders, & f**k anyone who supports anything he does. That's about what it boils down to. Eat it, & while you're at it, change your avatar pic. You've got no business flying the Confederate flag. -

I get it now. This is clearly a political thread, but it is allowable in the hunting section of the site, because it is endearing to democrats / liberals. If this were a thread about a tea party convention, the usual lefties would be on the warpath, demanding the thread be relegated to the obscurity of the political section. -
Powderhorn hunting preserve / Pere David's deer.
Skillet replied to Skillet's topic in Out of New York Hunting
I'm not sure exactly what he said, tho he's told me several times. I think it was either 220 or 230 acres. -
I didn't know that. He wanted to use my crossbow, & he's pretty good with it. But, there's no sneaking up on these fallows. They were in a herd of about 18 or 20 doe / fawns. So, my friend (the owner) said to use his 223. My kid shoots that rifle often, when we go to visit them. He was familiar with it, so he went for it. I don't own a 223, or claim to know much of anything about bullets, so I had no idea this was a poor choice. Luckily, it worked out because he shot well. Had I known about the poor bullet choice, I'd have asked for a different load. I wasn't posting this to offer any input on the argument, because I don't have any valid input. I just coincidentally got into this situation yesterday, & thought I'd add it to the thread. My mistake on bullet choice.

Other than some similarities in coloration, they're nothing like Fallows. Fallows also have a lot of color variations, that are not like the one above. He's got whites, chocolates, & a cpl others. -
My son killed this fallow doe yesterday with a .223. Hornady 55gr V-max. 100yds. Demolished both lungs. Was it an ideal gun? no. But he was comfortable & accurate with it.
