The 1st time I used a decoy , I set it up 20 yards from my stand in an open field . I used a 3-D target for the decoy . I placed it facing away from me as suggested because a buck would approach a doe from the rear . After a while a 6 point came across the field and approached the doe decoy nose to nose . Apparently he didn't read the same book that I did . One of my sister in laws horses ran up the the fence and whinnied . The buck took off and I couldn't get him to come back . Another time I set up the same decoy in the woods . I saw two doe out in the field about 70 yards away . They spotted the decoy and came right in . I was able to shoot one of them so it payed off . I carried the decoy in one of the large orange bags that they use when picking up along the highway even though I did it in the dark . I left it in the woods broke down in a large Black garbage bag . This was on private land .

I live in Ontario , NY . Close by is Spencer SpeedWay in Williamson . People built houses and Housing Tracts near the SpeedWay . Several complained about the noise on the weekend . Stupid is as Stupid does !

As a dumb ass once said , "why do we need farmers when we have all these huge super markets full of food " !

My experience at a FORD Dealership I stopped by the Ford Dealership the other day to look at the new 2019 F-150.. Just for fun, I took it out for a test drive. I wanted to sense that new truck "feel" before I get too old. The salesperson (a nice looking lady wearing a 'RESIST' lapel pin) sat in the passenger seat next to me, describing the truck and all its "wonderful" options. The seats were of particular interest. She explained that the seats directed warm air to your butt in the winter and directed cool air to your butt in the summer heat. Feeling like messing with her, I mentioned that this must be a Republican truck. Looking a bit angry, she asked why I thought it was a Republican truck. "I explained that if it were a Democrat truck, the seats would just blow smoke up your ass year-round!" I had to walk back to the dealership but it was worth it.

Nick also has a shirt that says " I'm Mom's Favorite " .

It is Illegal to shoot from a motorized vehicle . If someone could start a non existent engine on a Truck Billboard God bless him !

I had thoughts of putting up a couple sheets of plywood and pasting a big truck billboard picture on it then cutting out the window and using it for a blind . When I had my Chevy S-10 , I would see deer walk past my truck where I parked in a field . It never bothered the deer as they probably thought of it a farm equipment .

My treestand is 12 yards away . Any other tree is too small diameter for a stand .

I will have to try this spot October 1st
