  1. I think Growie had bees .....
  2. steve863 - thanks for the advanced notice .
  3. My wife paid $10 more on Amazon than I did at the BJ's store in Webster for a box of 48 wipes . .
  4. Has anyone used this for ticks or mosquitoes ? I bought a box of 48 at BJ's for $12.99 plus tax . My wife bought a box of 40 at Amazon for $25 plus tax . I have used different sprays for mosquitoes and never liked them so I thought I would try these .
  5. I have cameras up year round . I enjoy the pictures . But , I know that as crops are harvested , the deer travel will change .
  6. So will Maneuvers become People Euvers and Mannequins become Person Nequins ? I am so confused !
  7. With all the crappy videos being posted , I would think Old Man River is Odysseus .......
  8. I got one as a gift and have not used it yet .
  9. Son , have you ever sat on a grown man's lap ?
  10. These windows are rather small ( 12" high ) . Shipping costs are high .
  11. I believe that the chair height would determine the height of the windows to be installed . Office chair sounds like a good idea . I have a 6' high elevated frame located on the bank of a pond . The frame is 5' square on top and I had been using a Hub Blind for the past 4 seasons . My oldest son said that if I buy or supply the windows , he would make a frame , enclose it with plywood and put a roof on it . He suggested double pane windows as they probably wouldn't frost up like single pane . Lowes appears to have the best deal . Here is what I am considering for the windows . I think sliding them up and down would be more practical than sliding them sideways . https://www.lowes.com/pd/Project-Source-10001-Left-Operable-Vinyl-New-Construction-White-Exterior-Sliding-Window-Rough-Opening-36-in-x-36-in-Actual-35-5-in-x-35-5-in/3681932
  12. Soccer is boring ....... Watching grass grow is more exciting .
  13. Good video . Shows how ill-informed Biden happens to be .
  14. Tell her that you are getting ready for the Apocolypse ..............
  15. The only disadvantage I remember with the M1 was during inspection and getting your thumb out of the way . As for holding it sideways during an attack , Yaberra said the recoil would would move the aiming point and they just kept firing without actually aiming . Since he survived , I won't doubt him .
  16. When I was in 81mm mortors in 1959 / 1960 we had an Indian named Corporal Yaberra . He had been busted in rank several times and was a drinker . Cpl Yaberra was a survivor of the Chosen Reservoir battle and didn't talk much . He said they fired their M1's sideways and just kept pulling the trigger . One us rookies asked him about the M1 carbine and he went bonkers . He said they were a piece of crap and that they couldn't penetrate the NC / Chinese padded winter coats . I never saw or fired one of the carbines so I really don't know if it was fact other than hearing the same thing later from old salts talking in a bar .
  17. I had always worn a Camo baseball style hat when bowhunting . My son suggested I wear a Boonie Hat like he does and I thought it looked like a fishing hat . Anyway , about 3 years ago and thought it was a great idea . In the past , I had to tip my hat back so the bow string wouldn't hit it . The Boonie hat is so flexible that I can draw the bow string back against it and not worry about interference . Anyone else wear one ?
  18. Thank you for all the Congrats ! Sometimes I wake up in the middle of the night , look over at my wife and think , damn is she lucky !
  19. 57 years ago today , I married my wonderful wife . I don't know how she put up with me that long . Must be my lovable personality ........
  20. I used my 3-D at my Mom's in Groveland one time . I was in a in a stand in a wooded area and had the decoy a few yards in an open field . A button buck crossed in front of me and entered the field . He wasn't paying attention and when he spotted the decoy i swear all 4 hooves came off the ground . He ran a few yards , stopped and turned around , looked back and then just sauntered off . I bet he heard me laughing . The guy that owned the field had a lot of equipment there and I stored the decoy in the back of one of the vans . He had an auction that I wasn't aware of and I lost the decoy .
  21. I bet they are Easton Full Metal Jackets ........
