  1. Can you say Gullible ? The same stupid letter was said to be from the McCain family in 2008 http://www.snopes.com/politics/mccain/hinckley.asp
  2. The 1st couple are neat . Then it's "damn , I ruined 2 more arrows " !
  3. I don't know anything about them but as for the arrows / bolts , any that I have seen do not have a nok per se , they have a type of nok that is slanted and doesn't appear to snap on the string . You might be able to purchase the correct tpe noks to fit your shafts .
  4. If the Robin Hood is out of the Bullseye , does it count as 2 bad shots ?
  5. Grizzly Stix arrows / shafts http://www.alaskabowhunting.com/GrizzlyStik-Original-Shafts-C5.aspx
  6. I worked at Xerox for 35 years . Most of it was spent as a Materials Management / Ware Housing Supervisor . Had to deal with too many lazy asses who didn't want to work for their paycheck . The last 4 years I was a Buyer Analyst and didn't have to baby sit any more . Guess what ? The ware houses are gon and minimal assembly is done any more ! The union members overpaid themselves out of jobs .
  7. you can buy brass inserts to increase your FOC . My youngest son shoots about an 850 grain log that is a bone buster . He has 190 grain single bevel blades with brass inserts added to his Alaskan Grizzly Stix shafts . Those arrows hit hard !
  8. I don't have a problem with any of the WalMarts I go to . Some of the staff in sporting goods have been there for years and are quite competant . Maybe the employees down state aren't too swift but they are okay in western ny .
  9. After shooting 3 Robin Hoods , I decided it was time to shoot separate spots . Too costly otherwise . Sometimes I will shoot 2-3 old .arrows at the same spot .
  10. Maybe WalMart is being over caucious but they don't want to get sued either for selling ammo to someone . I have purchased rifle ammo and .380 ammo at the WalMart in Geneseo without having to show anything .
  11. He's got a freaky looking rack . Let him go . p.s. what are the GPS coordinates of the camera ?
  12. He always raised his hand with the ooooh , oooooh , ooooh
  13. "crap your drawers" ? You would have to change your user name to Sha-zitts In Pants ! "double as a pickaxe" ? How about a boat anchor ? ....
  14. There are a few crossbows that you can change the string in the field without a press , etc ..
  15. This probably won't make sense to a few of you but , I have a Ben Pearsn TX-4 . It has a draw length of 28" and has a short brace height . The grip sits back in the riser and I shoot 27 1/4" arrows . I cannot shoot the same arrows from my Parker Phoenix EZ Draw which is also a 28" draw bow due to the different design . My arrows weigh 435 grains . I prefer this over a lighter faster arrow . I would rather hear a "thwap" than a "blip" !
  16. If you have an old trail cam that doesn't even have to work , hang it low where is is quite visible . Then take an IR trail cam and hang it up about 10' facing the other camra . You might catch the thieves. Don't leave the ladder out there . As for the stands , if you are using a ladder stand check out my stand theft usage deterrant in the DIY forum . If you are using a hang on , the strap on steps might be the answer . Some guys use screw in steps and remove the lower ones when they get down from a hang-on but that seems like a pita . No matter what you do , if someone wants a stand or camera bad enough , they will find a way to get it .
  17. If you can find the right size pen , it makes a neat mouth call . Need he right one to put a lanyard on .
