Had a damn dog come on my sister in law's property when I was bow hunting . I was tempted t shoot it but knew better . The dog messed up my hunting on two occasions . I took pictures and showed them to my SIL . She said it was her neighbor's and talked to them . They sad that they couldn't control the dog . My SIL said they had better if they wanted to keep it . I didn't see the dog again .

Like I said 97.3 percent of statistics are made up .

When you post to sell something put a pice on it .........

That would only work if they bothered to read the Posted Sign ! My son , my sister in law and a friend have their property posted . It hasn't kept tress[passers out . My oldest son has property in Italy Valley . He has to be careful not to upset a tresspasser or his camp could get trashed .

It takes several cleanings to get that gunk off !

Most of the areas I hunt are 50 - 60 miles away . I am not going to drive that far and only hunt a couple hours . If I stay late , I don't go back the next day and hunt every other day . I hunt Geneseo , Groveland , South Bristol and Mendon .

Nothing like a length of PVC pipe with end caps and screw top fitting . Not sure how long a rifle could be buried before rusting .

That would make for too many rules ! There are enough rules already . Just abide by them .

I have had a box last me 4 seasons . Got 4 deer with them ( Winchester Super X foster slugs ) .

The 1st couple days I will hunt it as hard as I can . I get to the stand before daylight and depending on the action or lack of , I might change stands . I want to get the deer before the kids start shooting !

If someone else had posted the topic I would have expected to see a Bar / Tap Room .

If you buy a trailer , get one with the pressure treated planks . I have seen several trailers that have the mesh floors rusted out and had to be repaired . Just saying ...........

I think it was WNYBuckhunter that posted a link to Moultrie to show their products . I saw where they had Lock Boxes on sale for $19.99 each and started to order them . A tax was added and then almost $14 for shipping so I cancelled out . I received an e-mail from Moultrie saying my order was incomplete and asked if There was a problem . I wrote back that with the shipping and tax it almost added another $20 so I cancelled . . They sent me another e-mail with a code to use for free shipping so I ordered 2 of the boxes . Doc would be proud of me !

Tractor supply started a pretty good Huning Area in the Ontario store this year .

I bought some 7-30 waters ammo at the Avon Gun Store a few years ago . Only Federal makes it . Anyway , it was only 50 cents more per box than Beikirchs and that is where the Avon Gun Shot gets their ammo supplies .

I saw an ad for a Bow Hunting Class at our local Rod Gun Club for the last weekend in September. Boy , that's cutting it close !

I like the 2 blade Rage but I am considering trying the Swhackers . I was impressed with the test video . I see the 100 grain Swhackes come with 1 3/4" and 2" cuts . Other than an exra 1/4" cut , is one better than the other ? Anyone know ?

The 3 blade Rage is illegal ! We had discussed this last year . The stores can sell them but it is illegl to hunt with the 3 blade Rage . They are considered "barbed" . The Tekan II's are also illegal as they don't fold back .

Doc , the next time you make a trip to Beikirchs give me a call and we can drop in on Skillet and have some coffee . He lives nearby . I put up Real Estate signs and when I am in the area I stop at Beikirchs . My sons gave me a $50 gift certificate for their shop . He has bought a few guns , reloadingcomponents there .

Never heard it to be illegal .A youngsterwe let hut at camp ( legal age with license ) hit a deer before dark. We went back to te cabin , put away our guns , chnged clothes and got omethin to eat while waitng for the deer to expire . We tacked with lights and go to where there was a drop of blood here and there . Didn't find the deer . The next morning we went out to another spot to hunt . It was before daylight . I told the kid , as son as it's legal time go pick up the trail . He found his deer and it was just off the trail that we had walked down in the am . I used o quit hunting and get out of my stand an hour before it was time to quit a I didn't want to track in th dark and possibly lose a deer . It's really not a problem if you have a light . My oldest son has one of the Gerber Tracking lights and I think it sucks .

Let him walk . He will get bigger ......... yeah right !
