  1. Apparently anyone who disagrees with wtswtr is selfish . Well , let the selfish Dads take their kids out opening day of regular gun season and see the real world . But then Dad might have to pass up the buck of a lifetime . It doesn't affect me either . I have not come across any squirrel , bird , etc hunters when bow hunting . If I did they would have to have trespassed to get onto the property .
  2. Well , I agree with Skully on most of his post . Why wouldn't a father or mentor be willing to give up his hunt on opening day of regular gun season for his youth to hunt rather than the need for a youth season . Is it so Daddy wouldn't be deprived of taking a deer on opening day ? Are the fathers being selfish ? I might find the Youth Hunt beneficial to my bow hunting as I hunt private property that is adjacent to land that is hunted by others . With people hunting with guns on those properties , they may spook deer my way .
  3. So far Greybeard has made the most sense with his last post . People don't just decide to become gay . They are born that way !
  4. I have never seen a Chick-Fil-A and if I did I would drive on by .........
  5. Rabbit in distress call will usually bring them in . A mouse squeak will also do the trick . Use the "kiss of death" . Kiss the back of your hand to make a squeak call . I was checking my trail cams and saw a fox mousing in a field . I used the kiss of death and he came in on a dead run until he was about 25 feet away and spotted me .

  7. Biden needs some Duct Tape on his mouth ...........
  8. I shot a buck about 3 years ago during BP season . He had an broken arrow down through his neck .
  9. Leave the camera alone . The little chubby kid on the bike will be looking for it !

    Pic's

I have a mini SD card in the phone that I remove and place in a larger SD card adapter and place that into the slot in the computer to upload the pics .
  12. WD40 and duct tape are the answer to a lot of homeowner repairs!
  13. I get it all free as I turned 70 last year . No hurry to request the DMPs as they aren't 1st come .... 1st served . No more of the "gotta get to the Clerk's office and get the license and DMP's " .
  14. Unless your arrows with fixed broadheads are tuned , your arrows can plane and won't hit the same as your practice points .
  15. A public school teacher was arrested today at John F. Kennedy International airport as he attempted to board a flight while in possession of a ruler, a protractor, a compass, a slide-rule and a calculator. At a morning press conference, Attorney General Eric Holder said he believes the man is a member of the notorious Al-Gebra movement. He did not identify the man, who has been charged by the FBI with carrying weapons of math instruction. 'Al-Gebra is a problem for us', the Attorney General said. 'They derive solutions by means and extremes, and sometimes go off on tangents in search of absolute values.' They use secret code names like 'X' and 'Y' and refer to themselves as 'unknowns', but we have determined that they belong to a common denominator of the axis of medieval with coordinates in every country. As the Greek philanderer Isosceles used to say, 'There are 3 sides to every triangle'. When asked to comment on the arrest, President Obama said, 'If God had wanted us to have better weapons of math instruction, he would have given us more fingers and toes.' White House aides told reporters they could not recall a more intelligent or profound statement by the President - It is believed that another Nobel Prize will follow.
  16. Many of the members don't post their age as you can see in the profiles . Also , many are probably ashamed of the town they are from as they post Upstate , Western NY , Area 59 , etc ..
  17. I have never set my cameras on Video . If I had , I might have gotten a better pic of the chubby kid's dad . Yeah , the 10" high helps but cameras still make a noise and tip the deer that something is there .
  18. Yeah , he's a winner ...............
  19. Never heard of them going on sale before near mid August
  20. Wildgame Innovations 8.0 MP IR game camera ......... I picked one up for a friend whose property I sometimes hunt . I had taken mine down as between his son with the ATV and tresspassers , the deer activity had subsided . My friend wants to see who is coming onto his property . The only thing I don't like about the WildGame cameras is .... I cannot get multiple pictures on them like the Moultrie , Stealth Cam , etc .. It was $150 unit on sale at DICKs for $100 and I had a $20 coupon ......
  21. Since it is sold , the thread will be locked ..............
  22. Mine is a Ruger LCP 380 with a Crimson Lazer Beam . Only problem is ...... can't see the beam worth a darn in daylight .
  23. Maybe he will have to go "video" .........
  24. IR cameras are good but most of them give off a Red Light that could give away the camera's location . If you set the camera up somewhat high and tip it down , it's hardly noticable .
