I think Varmint calls it "the kiss of death" . He probably would have come closer if I hadn't laughed out loud .

I did my walk about yesterday to the cemetery , through the woods and back home ( 2 1/4 miles ) . Anyway when I got to the south end of the woods I saw a fox stalking across a field at over 100 yards away . I made my silly cat screech and he stopped . I tried making a mouse squeak by kissing the back of my hand . The fox looked my way and took a few steps . I did it again and he took a few more . The 3rd time , he came on a dead run but stopped about 25 yards away , when he realized something was wrong and walked away . That made my day . Afterwards I realized I could have used my phone camera .........

I wonder how much noise is made when drawing the arrow across the plastic rest . I tried a QAD rest and couldn't keep the moleskin on the rest ( plus another problem ) to cut the sound and got rid of it .

I don't think the Archer was worried about hitting any house . He was shooting out in a cut hay field . And it was strictly for exhibition . Personally , I prefer to shoot aspirins out of the air at a closer range .

I havn't but I have heard guys testify to the deer killing ability of this round . I wouldn't recommend a lesser caliber than a 243 .

A Cup of Tea ~ One day my Gramma was out, and my Grampa was in charge of me. I was maybe 2 1/2 years old. Someone had given me a little 'tea set' as a gift, and it was one of my favorite toys. Grampa was in the living room engrossed in the evening news when I brought him a little cup of 'tea', which was just water. After several cups of tea and lots of praise for such yummy tea, my Gramma came home. My Grampa made her wait in the living room to watch me bring him a cup of tea, because it was 'just the cutest thing!' Gramma waited, and sure enough, here I came down the hall with a cup of tea for Grampa, and she watched him drink it up. Then she said, (as only a gramma would know), "'Did it ever occur to you that the only place she can reach to get water is the toilet?"

Nothing was mentioned or insinuated about taking a 200 yard shot at a deer . The guy is just shooting a damn balloon to show that he could hit it at 200 yards .

Has some great shows on the NG channel . They get Mary-Jo growers and catch a lot of poachers . One guy took 7 shots at a Robo-Buck on this morning's show . A warden had to dispatch a paralyzed fawn that a homeowner had called in . Sometimes they show the Border Patrol catching illegals or wardens catching poachers in Alaska .

Looks like that naughty dog returned home .
