I caught 3 of them . One year when they were building the housing tract behind us , we were inundated with the little buggers . I trapped 23 chipmunks that summer .

I don't shop at Sears anymore . I bought a 7 cu ft chest freezer from them . It lasted a little over a year . The warranty was for one year . I lost almost all of my venison . The store manager was very unsympathetic . I bought another freezer and an indoor / outdoor thermometer . I have the outdoor sensor in the new freezer and the temp reading next to the computer .

My oldest son is quite strong and lifts a lot of heavy stuff that he should get help on . Anyway , he was lifting an 8' pallet that was wet . He said that when he went to lift it that his body moved but his arm felt like it stretched his right bicep / arm and now it looks different than his left . Might it be a torn tendon ? I think he is going to make a doctor's appointment in the morning . Wondering if anyone else has experienced this type of injury and what it might be .

Oh , and Lowes will "price match" other stores . A while back , I needed 3 floor jacks . I knew the price at HD which was cheaper than Lowes . The clerk at the store asked if I wanted her to price match and I said , sure go ahead . She called HD and got their price , matched it and took off an extra percentage . That was sweet .

I stopped into Home Depot in Irondequoit today and was going to purchase a Table Saw . Before doing so I went to the Customer Service and asked if they honored the 10 percent off like Lowes does for Military / ex military . She said it depended on the ID card . I showed her my card and she said it wasn't acceptable . I said Lowes honors the card and she said Home Depot doesn't . I told her thanks and said I was heading for Lowes in Webster . She said , "sorry you feel that way" . I said "buh-bye !

We shouldn't even be hunting and killing those poor animals . Instead , we should go to the Super Market and buy the meat that they make there !

I end up going through brambles / multi floral roses , etc ... They would get ripped off of me . I had to cut a crap load of thorns today to put up a ladderstand . My hands still hurt . The leafy camo does look neat though . -

I shop there at least once a week . Before we go to a time share spot , I check to see if there is an Aldis nearby . They have great prices .

If there was periodic sunlight shining at your stand , you could buy one of the cheap $1 solar lights at the Dollar Store and put red or green light cellophane on the light . Hmmmmmmm

Caught on 2 different cams .... I have been on that trail a couple times a week and it hasn't bothered them .

I have never hunted Elk nor do I intend to but ......... I would think I would use a heavier arrow and broadhead . Elk are much larger than deer and I would think a heavier broadhead would pack more of a punch .
