Sorry about that . I have only been shooting for about 15 years . I got into archery late in life and have never had to glue nocks . I have seen some of the older arrows that required gluing though . Nocks should fit tight enough as to not require any glue so they will be easier to replace when you break one .

TWIZTD STRINGS is a company located in Michigan that builds custom strings . The strings are made based on your specifications or those of the manufacturer . The materials used are Brownell Excel or BCY 452X Most colors are available . 2X serving is used for end servings . Halo may be used for specialty orders . All strings are pre-stretched at 300 lbs and served under tension using a Little Jon serving machine . I ordered 2 sets of string and cable for my Ben Pearson TX-4 . One set is the Excel (seemed to be faster in some of the previous tests) and the other set is the 452X . I ordered the Excel in Green / Black and the 452X in Purple / Black . I was quite pleased with the color options . I had contacted Sean at Twiztd Strings and gave him my string measurement . Sean in turn contacted Ben Pearson Archery to verify the specifications on my bow model . When I received the strings , I took the Excel strings to my local bow shop to have them installed professionally . When I picked up my bow I asked the shop owner if he had any problems . Dave , at Trophy Taker Shop said he had taken measurements of the new string & cable , bow axle to axle , brace height , plus measured the string / cable that he removed from my TX-4 . He said the strings & cables measured the same and that the string I had removed was in fine shape . So far I am quite pleased with the Strings / Cables and the personal touch from those at Twiztd Strings . The picture with the brighter string is the new one . The original string is the dull colored one . Now I have to get out and shoot the bow Original String Twiztd Strings Excel twiztdstrings.com -

I never even glued the nocks on my aluminum arrows when I used to shoot them . They were Easton Super Slams and the nocks could be rotated .

I had a young lady , whose family runs a meat market , tell me that even though the deer are tagged as to what deer belongs to whom , they still get some of the meat mixed . I don't want any venison from a deer that some jerk has had in the back of his pickup and riding around with it for several days !

Here are a few -
I bought one on EBAY and I am dying to try it out . My wife bought me an EPIC bow / gun camera but so far I don't care for that . The mount goes into the stabilizer hole and the camera attaches to the mount . http://www.bowpix.com/Order.php

At least the home owner had a sense of humor ....... -
I shoot at least 4 days a week . The max distance I can practice safely in my back yard is just over 35 yards . I have a 10' high ladder stand that is 30 yards from my backstop and have a 3-D plus a home made target that I can move around The digital thermometer read 97 degrees at one point today and it is forecasted to be in the 90's the next 3 days . I don't thin I will be shooting .

I wonder how many of you carry extra shorts in your backpack ! : I have walked along a trail in almost pitch dark and heard something take off in the brush . The initial reaction is huge goose-bumps ! I have a headlamp with the colored lights and also white light . I also carry a mini-maglight for just in case . Quite often ther is just enough light on the horizion to see where I am going .
