    Sat out for 4 1/2 Hours in my double chair blind this afternoon . Freezing cold with a SW wind making it colder . Didn't see a thing . At about 4:15 my oldest son pushed the thickets and kicked out a doe that my grandson shot . At least the day wasn't a total waste .

    I plan to do an afternoon hunt Saturday in Geneseo with my oldest son and grandson i The woods are like a swamp now so I am staying clear of them . I will take my 2 man chair blind And sit overlooking a huge field and thickets .

    THe property in Geneseo was more like a swamp than a woods . My oldest son shot a big doe and a button buck . We will be having backstraps for thanksgiving Snack .

    Going to head to Geneseo in a few minutes . One forecast is no rain and another site shows rain at 9 and 10 am . I hope the 1st one is right . Happy Hunting !

    I enjoy the Cuddeback trail cameras As they send me pictures from 50 miles away . I have never shot Any deer that I had on camera . I do get some pictures of horse riders and tresspassers on the cameras .

    I don't care for the change . I was sitting in the woods at 6 am . it was legal to shoot at 6;30 but it was dark in the woods . NO doubt it would have been better to see if ai was sitting on an open field edge . I quit at sundown .
