Next little project..... My wife wants to add some decor out on the rear patio. I cut the shape out of luann plywood and she will do the painting. I'll post another pic when it's done.

It's starting to heat up! it looks like the 10 pt is shedding his velvet. And the big non typical with the broken front leg is still around, man he's got a lot of stickers! I can tell it's the same buck from the last 3 years as i have him on video and can see his limp when he's walking. That buck has to be at least 5.5 years old now. I'd love to get him but his MO is I see him on camera but once the season starts i never see him in the woods.

Gold Tip makes weights you can screw into the back of the insert to add weight. I think I'll experiment by trying heavier field points to see if I notice any difference and then get the inserts if necessary.

So are your tips actually 150gr? I was thinking of adding some weight to the front of my arrows as I'm pretty sure iirc that I don't have the recommended FOC because of the lighted nocks I use on my hunting arrows. What did you use to add weight?

Parker Dam State Park, near Dubois - St. Marys, Pa. Nice campground about 2 miles off main rd (Pa 153) Plus you are only abut 15 minute drive to Benezette where you can witness some of Pa's best elk herd! And the bugling starts up in September! My wife and i try to go every Columbus day weekend.

I had a pass from the academy last night, I went to the Bisons game with 3 of my high school buddies and their wives. It was planned several weeks ago. We had a blast, good time with friends I don't get to see very often. I promise to get serious from here on until 10/1.

I couldn't find the pics so I took a couple of pic of the mounts. After looking at them they actually don't have a single horn on the left side. More like a deformed horn with some kickers! Genetics, go figure, mom spends just 1 weekend on the other side of town and look what hapoens! Lol

Interesting I have killed a couple of bucks in the last few years that had strange racks with a single long horn on the left side, this is the 1st one I've seen with the single spike on the right side. I'll look for the pics and post them.

I have had 3 cameras out since mid March. Not as many great bucks as i usually see but those were always at night by the pear trees in my brothers yard and he sold the house so I don't get to set up my camera on the pear tree any more. Bummer, I loved seeing the potential of big ones that might be on the property.

How would a 3 pt hook up to a tractor with only a draw bar? Also, Goose has a 4 ft pull behind with a motor? Is the motor not working? Sounds like a project I could try working on?
