StripedBuck replied to JGaruti3's topic in Trail Camera Pictures
1st you gotta get rid of that Coyote and then bring that Brawn of a Black Bear down! Best of luck, would love to know how much that one weighs and how old. -
Good luck Gino!...They should be moving around and filling there belly's before the storm hits.

Great picture!...Wouldn't mind seeing one of those albino deer in the woods though. -
Coyote eliminated, very nice!

Sorry, not hunting related but the sickest &$#* I've read
StripedBuck replied to Elmo's topic in General Chit Chat
Well at least the FBI and NYPD Internal Affairs was on to him and stopped him before he really did such a sick thing to the women. It's sad that he was also a NYPO definitley some mental issues with him. I hope he gets the help he needs. -
I have never tried Buck Bombs, but have tried other attracting scents with success and without of course. It's nice to watch a Deer come in and follow that scent right to where you've placed it, especially when it's a Big Buck..sniffing and lip curling..LOL

How about calling, do you use any deer calls?..Rattle bag or antlers, grunt call, bleats...etc.. They work great especially since your hidden in a blind they can't see the movement or pin your location as easy. Also try putting some of that Tinks Doe P or "69" about 20 yards out from your blind in the view areas of your blins windows or shooting lanes...Best of lucking with your future hunter's arrival and this season!

Congrats Lawdwaz on a nice Doe

This sounds like it's the Bucks primary scrape territory. Active scrapes could be visited by different Bucks and or Does. Is there a licking branch above any of those scrapes? Also be absolutely scent free while in that area...Try and get a cam on those other scrapes...Best of luck!

Very lucky to be able to use his cell phone and call for help...Others are not so lucky! YOU MUST ALWAYS WEAR A SAFETY HARNESS WHEN USING A TREE STAND!..IT SAVES LIVES...SAFE HUNTING!

Another great video Sampotter!...Deer are so awesome to watch and learn. I like when the one Buck is rubbing the tree and the other one comes over and they start to spare...cool stuff...Lots of Bucks rubbing, scrapping and urinating all over those tarsal glands very nice to see...What type of camera are you using?
-
It would make a great mount!

Nice looking Buck UA22Plumber...Absolutely the weather, time of day pics were taken could help you out and with the rut starting up you'll have a hard time trying to pattern them. Best of luck on that piece of land you'll be hunting, just be patient they will show.
