My issue is not being able to re-sharpen my blade to be razor sharp as well. That's why this seems like a no brainer to solve my problem. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Saw an add for these Havalon knives with the replaceable blades. Has anyone ever used these before? It kinda reminds me a folding scalpal where you can just replace the blade everytime it gets dull. Looks like an interesting product and was curious if anyone has used it before and if so how they like it.

Doc, Was this a guided hunt, or did you know someone with land up there? If guided any info you can pass along. Really would like to do a Moose hunt one of these days.

People talk all the time about wanting a piece of property in NYS to hunt.....If you could have land anywhere in the USfor hunting where would you choose if money and travel were not an issue? Just curiouse what everyones thoughts are here?

I think if your young it makes sense since I've been spending around $90 every year for my license. I plan on hunting for a long long time so this is actually a huge savings. But if what Vince1 said is true this seems kind of stupid. Why wouldn't they do one big package? Seems stupid that they will put it on your drivers licesnse since you will still need carcas tags, back tags so i don't see why not having the one little paper license is a big deal. I do think it is a way for the state to see who might have a firearm when they are pulled over or asked for ID for any other reason.

Connecticut set for possible confiscation
BKhunter replied to Red's topic in Gun and Hunting Laws and Politics Discussions
I wouldn't be shocked if you start hearing this in NY as well. They passed laws to make legal gun owners crimals to then go after them. -
So it looks like I'm doing something wrong. Not sure if I am understuffing or what. I don't think I am understuff as the sausage comes out approximatly the same size as the ones you buy in the grocery store. Do I maybe need to dry out the casing a little after I am done soaking them to flush the salt from them?
