  3. My issue is not being able to re-sharpen my blade to be razor sharp as well. That's why this seems like a no brainer to solve my problem. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  5. It looks like CT is taking the steps to notify its residents that confiscation is on they way http://www.foxnews.com/us/2014/03/15/conn-officials-tell-gun-owners-to-relinquish-or-destroy-banned-assault-weapons/
  6. Not to jump ahead but I think it would be a wise idea that once the ballots are set to start a thread listing which of the cadidates are for the repeal of the safe act. This in turn to be used at the polls.
  7. Saw this in the news today. Pretty impressive! http://www.foxnews.com/us/2014/03/14/north-carolina-hunter-bags-500-pound-wild-hog/?intcmp=features
  8. In everyone's opinion do we think the safe act will be repealed or is it hear to stay? I honestly hope it is but I don't really ever see laws being repealed I just see them passing more of them in every aspect of our daily lives. What are your thoughts? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Looking forward to the day when I can buy something. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Can you these knives for basic quartering? Or does it stop and field dressing and skinning? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Saw an add for these Havalon knives with the replaceable blades. Has anyone ever used these before? It kinda reminds me a folding scalpal where you can just replace the blade everytime it gets dull. Looks like an interesting product and was curious if anyone has used it before and if so how they like it.
  12. I have a ruger 22 and Remington always jams every 3 or 4 shots. Can't wait to get rid of it and never buy it again Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. I have Rugar Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. One of the main reasons I am trying to learn reloading
  15. Do you just bake those? If so at what temp and for how long? Sounds good! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. I've seen one in all my years hunting in 4y.... Scared the hell out of me when it took off..... It didn't move until I was three feet away from it I had no clue it was even there
  17. Doc, Was this a guided hunt, or did you know someone with land up there? If guided any info you can pass along. Really would like to do a Moose hunt one of these days.
  18. People talk all the time about wanting a piece of property in NYS to hunt.....If you could have land anywhere in the USfor hunting where would you choose if money and travel were not an issue? Just curiouse what everyones thoughts are here?
  19. Midway seems to be sold out of everything. Anyone know of any other good sites to order from.
  20. http://www.foxnews.com/us/2014/02/13/calif-concealed-weapon-law-tossed-by-fed-appeals-court/ Can someone please tell me how this is any different than the NYC concealed law and why this isn't being appealed and overturned here?
  21. I think if your young it makes sense since I've been spending around $90 every year for my license. I plan on hunting for a long long time so this is actually a huge savings. But if what Vince1 said is true this seems kind of stupid. Why wouldn't they do one big package? Seems stupid that they will put it on your drivers licesnse since you will still need carcas tags, back tags so i don't see why not having the one little paper license is a big deal. I do think it is a way for the state to see who might have a firearm when they are pulled over or asked for ID for any other reason.
  22. I wouldn't be shocked if you start hearing this in NY as well. They passed laws to make legal gun owners crimals to then go after them.
  23. So it looks like I'm doing something wrong. Not sure if I am understuffing or what. I don't think I am understuff as the sausage comes out approximatly the same size as the ones you buy in the grocery store. Do I maybe need to dry out the casing a little after I am done soaking them to flush the salt from them?
