I'm going with my personal favorite, the Barrett .50 cal topped with a Leupold Mark 4 long range scope.

Here are the first couple bucks that have showed up on camera. Looks like the one will be pretty decent, but think he is only a 2 year old. The doe I added looks pretty old (her ears look small on her head). She does have a fawn with her but didn't get any pictures of them together.

Mom was watching from the woods about 60 yards away.

Nice find! Gotta love those big 6's!

Thanks again Wooly! Pretty good pics for my phone!

Thanks Wooly! Had this hen strut through the back yard last night. She's lucky the dogs were in the garage cause she was inside their perimeter!

Found this guy nestled in the grass while brush hogging next to the house. Don't think he moved an inch.

I found this little guy last Wednesday in the back yard!

It seems like the first year on your lease will be the sacrificial lamb. You will probably spend more time chasing people around than you will hunting, which blows. I know when we acquired a new ~250 acre parcel at camp we posted the heck out of it, tore down all the wooden stands that were present, took down all metal stands and left them at the base of tree with the ladder missing and left our contact info, and spent most of the first year pissing off people who had hunted there the previous 20+ years. Most of them were good about it and called us. Some of them have since joined the club. The rest, bought new stands and put them up where the old one was and padlocked it. Needless to say we own a master key for all locks and we promptly removed the stand and left our contact info in its place. DEC got involved and the 2 guys were warned to stay off the property. That first year we ended up patrolling the property line more than hunting. That was 10 years ago and we've had no issues since then. Hope this isn't what happens in your case.

I shot 3 deer last year with the same Rage 2 blade broadhead. Had to replace blades after the 2nd one. Have killed 7 deer total with the Rage 2 blades and love them. I tried Swhacker 2 years ago and they were pretty good too. Just didn't care for the rubberband that held the blades closed. Whatever mechanical you decide to go with, don't shoot it into your target. The Rages come with a practice point to shoot. Just wouldn't recommend shooting into a bag target with it.

For sale or trade is an LC Smith field grade double barrel 12 gauge shotgun. Gun is in good to very good condition for its age. Asking $850 or BO or trade for tow behind atv brush hog, 3 pt tiller, or other possible atv food plot implements.

I have the Jo-jan fletcher and it can be ordered for either one. It's a sweet setup.

Awesome pics and great story line.

I've had a lot of luck with the Gander Mountain TecH2O rain gear. I bought a new set last year of the same stuff. Main reason for getting a new set was I wanted a new camo pattern. Pants and jacket together were about $150.

Just thought I would pass this deal along from 60X bowstrings. See the picture below for the details. Great price for a great product.

It is heavy, I will say that

Bought the Trophy Ridge React site for my bow back in January and finally got it put on and set up. Took 10 shots at 20 yards to get it dialed in and then moved on to 30 where it took another 12. Shot out to 60 and it was spot on. Easiest site I've ever set up. Was pretty skeptical at first but it's no BS. Would recommend it highly if you're in the market for a new site.

I bought strings and cables from 60x last year for $82 shipped. Had my dealer put them on, set up, and tune for another $30. $160 seems a little steep.

Thanks guys. I talked with my neighbor and he said I could walk his property any time (350-400 acres). I also have a hunting camp with several hundred acres to walk around too. Problem is getting time! My wife and I work different schedules and we have 3 kids so my free time is at work...haha. The kids don't mind getting toted through the woods, but their attention spans are very short so we usually only do 1/2-1 mile. I'll find some, and when I do I'll post it! Thanks again.

Hopefully this won't be as dumb as it sounds, but where do you start shed hunting? What my main interest is, is whose property are y'all walking around on? I have ~100 acres here on the farm that I walk around looking for sheds on, but the deer don't really stay here during the winter. I'm sure I could get permission from my neighbor who has several hundred acres. Are you guys looking on state land? Friends property? County property? Just curious cause some of you guys are finding an A$$load of sheds. Thanks!
