  1. That's what I'm shooting! Don't worry, they leave two holes! Haha
  2. Checked the plot yesterday. Looks there was a decent amount of growth over the last 5 days (1" sprouts). It will be interesting to see what is actually growing over the next couple weeks. I'm hoping it's primarily the turnips that I planted!
  3. We usually have a good mix here. I don't typically get all of the bucks on cam but see them in the evenings out in the fields. I have some new pics I need to upload. I've seen 3 fawn bucks (that I can tell) out in the fields with the does. We actually have one that wanders into the yard a couple times a week.
  4. Bushnell trophy cam HD. Won it in a raffle over the winter and have been very pleased with its performance so far.
  5. Shoot it. We had a doe at camp that everybody saw at one point and nobody could get a shot on for years. Finally she messed up one day and my buddy shot her. She weighed 174 lbs dressed and was aged at 9 years old.
  6. New face paint. Gonna try the dead down wind 4 color stick. 2 new muddy chain on stands with climbing sticks.
  7. 5-6 yearling bucks ranging from 4-8 points. A couple nice 2 year old 8 points and two nice 3 and 4 year old 8 points.
  8. Wtf Wooly...hahaha. You need to check the dates!
  9. It was great the first year I had it. Ever since then they've been disasterous. They don't take clear pictures at dawn or dusk. They are mostly whiteout pics. And occasionally during the day it takes the whiteout pic. I've tried different scenarios and got the same result. I still put them out because when they decide to work they work well. Not sure how it compares to their newer cams. Hopefully they are better now.
  10. Wild game innovations pulse 10x
  11. Multi pocket waterproof back pack which contains: TP, 50' para cord, 2 knives, hooymans extendable saw, binocs, 2 Sharpies, 1 pen, compass, butane lighter, misc deer calls, latex gloves, rangefinder, cover scent, wind checker, flashlight, Sagan saw, bottle of water, 2-3 protein bars, and diet mtn dew.
  12. I hope that 6 point makes it through the season for you. Those big framed 6's are really neat.
  13. Nice pics Red. Looks like a lot of activity. Good luck.
  14. Late evening shooting at 70 yards. I love shooting at this range for fun just to watch the Lumenoks! Can't see it too great, but I tried to record the arrow flight.https://vimeo.com/102890008
  15. 7 pages of dribble you keep adding to.
  16. I'm building a similar culti-packer only using an 8" corrugated metal pipe. I'm going to cut it to 5', put a ~2" metal pipe in the center and fill around with cement. Then I'll run a smaller pipe inside that and weld a bracket together so it can be towed behind the wheeler. We all gonna post pics when they're finished?
  17. Got my turnip seeds in the ground this morning. Over seeded with clover and rye. Was a great morning to plant. Ground was nice and moist from yesterday's rain and held the seeds well. I Will post a pic (hopefully) when they start to shoot up.
  18. Since we own a farm, most of the time it's several hours a day. When I go to camp (1.5 hrs away) I usually stay at least one night and hunt all day.
  19. Not sure where you are located but in my area that's a yearling buck. Pass on him this year and if he's without brows next year he probably won't have them. I wouldn't use the word cull...freezer filler sounds better.
  20. This is what I use. Big enough for 2 people during bow season. I always cut a few tree limbs to blend it in and never place it in the open. http://m.basspro.com/Ameristep-Bone-Collector-Ground-Blind/product/261909690/
  21. Nice bucks! That spike looks like a doe with antlers.
