  1. How much is affordable? $100-$150, $150-$200 or more per set?
  2. He doesn't look like he's missed any meals. Nice one.
  3. I drove by some land I'm looking to purchase last weekend around 11am. Nice and slow up the road to the property line and about 100 yards off it and in the dense hard woods was a herd of deer (10-15) standing in some what of a circle. Only one thing bringing them together in the middle of the woods like that...prayer I'm assuming since it was Sunday.
  4. Have you had a chance to try them out? I'm interested but would like to know how they performed if you had the chance.
  5. Olin- Kodensha Co. Ltd Winchester 101 O/U 12ga. Ser.# 110xxx In 1962 Olin/Winchester of New Haven, CT formed a joint venture with the Kodensha Co. Ltd to produce the Winchester Model 101 O/U. This Venture was known as the Olin- Kodensha Co. Ltd. 28" VR barrels full/modified choked (no tubes), 2-3/4" chambers, boxlock action, engraved receiver, checkered American walnut pistol grip stock. MFG. 1963-87. This ones in very good to excellent condition. Asking $1300 or BO. Can accept PayPal (buyer pays fees) but prefer cash or money order. Shipping is a possibility but would rather do face to face. PM me or call/text at 315-289-4432.
  6. Great pictures! You may want to include payment options, ie: PayPal, money order, cash, etc.
  7. Have the VT on one bow and 60x on the other. Have about 5000 shots on the 60x and they're now just starting to show some peep twist. I have about 1000 shots on the VT and they still seem fine. Would definitely recommend the 60x over the VT though. The price and customer service was much better.
  8. Went out for 2 hours today. Hit the primary bedding areas since I didn't have a ton of time. Didn't find anything! Had a great time though. Attached is a picture of one of the bedding areas. It's about 100x50 yards. Found 23 different beds (old and newer) and saw 3 deer.
  9. Typical 4 point on right side with a giant palmated fork and small kicker on the the left base.
  10. Awesome work Sam! In thinking about picking one up tomorrow.
  11. I really want to shoot the elite answer. What did you think of that bow?
  12. Never thought about going in March...would be nice to find some sheds while scouting
  13. Looks like an old school archery name is trying to get back into the action. Seems that Martin archery has a line of new bows that they say can compete with most of the other top brands. And they have a pretty good name to help them, Chris Brackett. I haven't seen or shot any of the bows but wouldn't mind flinging a few arrows through one to see how they are.

    New Peep

    I shoot a 3/16" G5 meta peep all year.
  15. Farm boy like yourself, you should have a barn to shoot in. I shoot in mine all winter, up to ~50 yards.
  16. When I find myself getting a little jumpy I shoot my other bow. It's a completely different draw cycle and back wall. Makes me focus on my form and not the target.
  17. Nice work Joe, keep at it!
  18. My buddy is going in March/April but I won't be able to go until May or June. I may have him set up a camera while he's there without me. Also found out I need to buy a climber, as I won't have a lot of time to hang stands.
  19. The land is about 3-5 miles east/southeast of Zanesville on the Muskingum and Guernsey county line. With the majority of it being in Muskingum. It's not far from the Ohio power property and I think may butt up to a small portion of it. We're talking about heading out in May/June to scout and hang cameras. I'm gonna need to invest in the covert cell phone cams to get the pictures! Should be fun.
  20. Been on the phone with my buddy and it looks like were gonna make it happen this fall! Planning on going out this spring and scouting then hunting this fall. Looking at November 6-10, should be a good time of year there. He's thinking there will be 4 of us total on the property. They killed 2 bucks there this fall, one a ~130" eight and the other a ~140" nine point. Said they saw some big ones scouting including three ~150"+ deer and one possible B&C buck. Let's hope its all he says it is. I'm Pumped!
  21. Looks pretty nice. My buddy has one that was done in the realtree snow camo. I thought that one looked pretty nice as well.
  22. Nice work Joe, have never seen one on a fence post before. Crafty!
