In order to get an equivalent comparison Chick-fil-A would have taken an active action on their views. Say keeping anyone that is for Gay and or a Gay married couple out of their stores and deny them service. (illegal of course). If Twitter and Google and the like were only doing what Chick-fil-A did they would be stating they do not agree with or support political or social views that were contrary to theirs.

I have family that had a couple instances like this. Not sure what the understory is on this one and I am so glad she is home and safe. Based on my experiences and reading between the lines in this story, I hope the family takes this opportunity to get this young lady some help.

New riots in Rochester

It doesn't appear that that same statement and question are applied by many to the incident at the Capital -

California to put an end to all bear hunting?
Culvercreek hunt club replied to Grouse's topic in General Hunting
California banned all trapping as well. Now they hire problem areas to be trapped spending taxpayer money to do what people were willing to do for nothing, many times hiring the same people that were trapping the areas before. As an added bonus the animals taken in a "nuisance" contract can't be utilized at all and need to be burned or landfilled. How's that for wise use of a renewable resource? -
We used two heavy turkey roasting pans on a double burner propane stove. We also found the part that took the longest was cooling it down sufficiently to avoid clumping. We spread a batch on a 4x8' sheet of plywood on a 8' long folding table and used a metal tined rake to stir and move it until it was cool. once cool we scraped it off into a container. I have an electric concretet mixer and I've seen them do it on a youtube video using one. I may try that.

I made a bender to do my own connibear stands and s hooks and j hooks. Hell carbon steel would be fine for that application. If you need any bent or a different size or shape, let me know

tarp and clear plastic over it?

What size are you looking for ideally?

You'll like the waxed dirt. Makes all the difference.

We did enjoy it. If we get a mild March and I can locate some beaver I might take a stab at that. But like you I'll be planning for next year. Off season will be skinning shed improvements, make some more boards and finish putting together a winch skinning machine. we also are gonna put up a bunch of waxed dirt and dry dirt. I'd like to see two 55 gallon barrels of waxed dirt. That would make it through I think.

WTB......Thompson Center pistol
Culvercreek hunt club replied to mlammerhirt's topic in Hunting Items For Sale and Trade
If you are going with a 15" barrel don't shy away from the 308 Win as well. It's very manageable in that heavy of a pistol Google Encore Classifieds. I've gotten a few barrels off from there. http://www.encoreclassifieds.com/?rc=Done This is the link -
based on the NIICS checks they estimate between 7.5 and 8 million in 2020. Now that won't count for people that had bought prior to the required checks or in states with no requirement for personal sales. Could be higher, could be lower. Pretty impressive number though. Can't remember where I read that.

Scope mount on REM 1100 20 ??
Culvercreek hunt club replied to luberhill's topic in Guns and Rifles and Discussions
With the pinned and the cantilever you are probably in a situation where a dedicated bolt action shotgun would be just as viable at that point. I opted for the cantilever because I still wanted a double duty from my 1187. Adding a couple hundred dollars I could have gotten a dedicated bolt shotgun. I like seeing different responses, it give the OP a good lay of the land. I remember my Dad's 12 gauge Ithaca deer slayer was accurate as heck. Not sure but I think the barrel was "attached" tot the receiver in some form or fashion. -
Scope mount on REM 1100 20 ??
Culvercreek hunt club replied to luberhill's topic in Guns and Rifles and Discussions
I will say that in terms of accuracy the saddle mount it the least accurate. A receiver mounted base is the next step up but a cantilever barrel will be your most accurate for the gun. It will be more expensive but since the scope is mounted on the barrel itself it will hold zero and provide your most consistency. -
