The Left and Chick-Fil-A
Culvercreek hunt club replied to Grouse's topic in Gun and Hunting Laws and Politics Discussions
This can be said for anything other than the Bible also. "Many beat the pulpit" for one cause as they denounce another. Similiar to the original directio of this thread. Protsters feelign the gays should be free to puruse happiness as they see fit....that it is their right to live that way. Yet those same protestors are willing to trample on the rite of the owner to voice his opinion. As any consumer you can choose to support a business for what ever reasons. To call for them to be run out of business, protest to disrupt their business and talk about new stores not being allowed in areas becasue o an opinion is hypocritical as well. That is okay though because it suit their wants. If you don't like what they do or say...boycott them...If you do , support them. often select purchases based on the type of support or contributuions company makes. -

So you think one of an elected officials duty is to target a business because they don't lik what the owner says? Remember, the company has done nothing illegal in terms of hiring or customer relations. -
The Expanded Antler Restrictions - Who is excited?

But if there are fewer receptive does in the second cycle (there will always be some) wouldn't the bucks then be more likely to cruise even farther and harder to find them? -

Joe, I have asked this many times and can't seem to get an answer. If so much effort has been put into this I woul dthink there should be numbers supporting an answer to this question.--- If we increase the age structure of the bucks and increase their numbers there will be more interaction of bucks during the pre rut and rut. To me this equated to more battling. These programs are presented to allow more time for body wieht and helping to make it through the winter. I would think the big increase in battling would afset any reduction in seeking. Is ther any data to show how the increased fighting effects the winter survival / survival rates? -

The problem is elected official leading the charge....There is no place for that. Add to that, protests designed ot disrupt their business....for voicing an opinion. whether you agree with His opinion or not, He had a right to voice it. Now he is targeted for exercising a right. So the group that doesn't like him talking about how they shouldn't have a right is going to punish him for using a right. Yeah that makes sense to me, what was I thinking. -

Virgil....and there is the problem with the whole thing. The owner did NOTHING to deny anyone anything. He voiced he opinion based on his belief and the whole left want him strung up because he is not inline with them. I have not seen one charge or complaint that a homosexual has been descriminated against by the firm as an employee or a customer...Have you? -

As opposed to the vast increased in out of wedlock births? If we are going to get behind gay marriage as better than a heterosexual divorce should we be openly berating the ones that have any out of marriage children as bad? What if the next wave of the day is having more than one spouse? If we are open to a new legal definition any time some group sees fit why not swing in line with the Mormons? Why is a loving couple of 2 people any better than a loving groupr of 3...or 4 ...or 6? -
I am saying...he is old enough...lol. Brisket...Belly...hams...at least 3.5.

Skillet, I have to say I don't view NY's comments and stated positions as an "AR guy" He seems to view the deer managment as the goal and not horns. I hae heard hem say (at least type) that he believes the age structure is our most lacking feature here in NY and that most huinters can tell a mature deer. I consider myself an average hunter and I have to admit I have a hard time when they are lone deer (unless they are carrying big horns) So AR is one IMPERFECT way to move towards and older buck structure. -
so how does this work when a deer comes in from behind you?

You guys were right then.....he is a genetic misfit

he is a self indulged egomaniac...you say tomato I say tyrant -
WNY...Is it bad genetics? It looks like a 1/1/2 year old deer to me. does he have damaged pedicles? If you showed me this on a 3 1/2 yo deer I bet we could say with pretty good certainty. I can't here....I can't see in his jeans...lol

Apaollo. I will be getting a CC gun after the New Year. I am also lookin into the Sig, but a different model. I believe it is stillin the 250 frame but it is modular. It is fairly new and I can't seem to find one to get in my hand. It is a Sig 2sum. the fire control carries the serial numbers and the SET allows you to drop the same trigger and fire control into a different slide and frame. so if you choose a .40 you can get a full size and subcompact in the set. I believe you can also get a ful size and compact if you choose. A couple minutes to change the fire control and you are shooting a different sized gun with the same feeling trigger...because it is the same trigger. I believe you can also change caliber groups with the same fire control being used. http://www.sigsauer..../p250-2sum.aspx http://www.thetruthaboutguns.com/2012/04/chris-dumm/gun-review-sig-sauer-p250-9mm-2sum/

That is on my list to try this year. a different casing is used from what I gather. The snack sticks are an edible casing the bigger summer sausage casings aren't. It was pretty easy though. Just took time and a modification on my propane smoker because it didn't go down low enough for this method. -

I am guessing, but based on the compnay he is keeping on this thread...he is dead serious. -
the stinking does have half the genes in the new offspring. those you can't tale out or even guess what they are throwing into the mix...it is totally a waste...unless the crap rack are a pure recessive gene and that is the ONLY way it will end up dominating th eherd...and that could take millions of years.
