  1. I do have a longer than average draw length and the fist limbs I bought were #28. I am very glad I did not go heavier becasue I am sure it would have effected how I learned and my form. cheap set of ILF limbs is gonna run you $100. I'd start low and move up as you and she build you strength and form
  2. One of my best friends bought one for his wife for Christmas. She can't quit talking about how much she enjoys it.
  3. I look at the weight and then construction. If you work up the load from the starting on up and are using any manufacturer FMJ I wouldn't be concerned. BUT, if you change a single component in the recipe (bullet manufacturer or primer and so on) You start over at the starting load. Not knowing what the manuals are using for age of data I would work on the powder manufacture's information.
  4. Personally if I see a difference in the two manuals I have I go to the powder manufactures info. Accurate #5 for 95gr SIerra FMJ was 4.3 start to 4.8 max on their site.

  6. We are going to try at least one new game this year. This is how this one will work We will have 4 of these coolers. We will use a single deck of cards and to select a card from the deck and get in it will cost $10. Tear your card in half and drop half in the drawing bucket. When the deck is sold we draw a card half and the owner of the matching half wins their choice of 1 of the coolers. We dump the remaining stubs and start again with a new deck. We will continue this until all 4 coolers are selected. Each winner must leave their selected cooler on the table until the entire game is completed but will be given a claim check for it. Here is the Catch. Once all 4 winners are know they will all come up and at the same time open their cooler. One will have a winning notification of winning another prize. What is that prize? I am sure you all are asking. 7. I'll be following this. I am headed in the opposite direction...lol. Sick of the black powder and substitutes. I am look at a smokeless barrel for my Encore.
  8. One highlight of our banquet is our General Raffle. (bucket Raffle). We typically have between 45-50 packages and tickets are sold for $20 each. Each ticket has a stub and 5 tear offs with your ticket number on them. You select which prizes you want a chance and winning and place you tear offs with your number in them. The night of the event $20 gets you 5 chances. in the early bird it is a 2 for 1 when you but the $100 or $250 package. SO in the $100 package you would normally get 5 tickets with 25 chances.. during the early bird you get 10 tickets with 50 chances and. Well last night I was updated donations and prizes lined up for the General Raffle. Currently there are 5 firearms, one cross bow and a wide selection of other hunting related products including blinds, tree stands, shooting related products much much more. The average retail on the packages is currently at $175 each. Here are some pics of last years General Raffle.
  9. I'd love tot get that int he lead sled and work up some loads for it.
  10. We are still waiting to hear the exact date for this Live Auction Item but I anticipate late August or First week in September. @WNYBuckHunter had the winning bid on this item last year. I think he will tell you all how wonderful this pace is.
  11. If anyone that has attended the banquet knows, we run a Gun Board Game. This was the board last year. 50 tickets sold for round #1. Winner takes the gun they want off the board. Sell next round and that winner selects from what is left. Continues until they are gone. Last year they went fast. He is a partial listing of what will be on the board this year. 12. A lot are 75-100. We are just lucky to have folks out here that really support us. Upper Hudson rocks a really good sized one too
  13. It’s really good sized. Probably 120-140 attending. It just takes a bit longer to go through the amount of prizes and stuff like we do for 220-240. Not better or worse. Just different
  14. Did one by me and in the morning you can't even get into a gas station around the place for coffee or gas. It's wall to wall amazon vans.
  15. I wonder how many 2-3/4" shells a semi shotgun that is chambered in 3-1/2" can hold? I use to have a 5 shot pump that was 3" and could get 6 in it.
  16. I know exactly how it works. Not having an immediate test to THC is what makes it the issue. Doctors in the Medical marijuana areas are not up to speed and offer no counsel to their patients. We have lost several that were just astounded when they lost their jobs becasue they did have a script.
  17. But they aren’t. We work in multiple states and are a Federal contractor. It’s a nightmare. We lose good employees all the time to the Rec and Medical because of Federal standards Have a CDL and try using to recreational or for Medical
  18. Ok. I am gonna start putting up some items that will be looking for a new home during the banquet. We will be running this game again!! It was very popular and we were asked by many to do it over.
