What's the coolest thing you found in the woods?
TreeGuy replied to helmut in the bush's topic in General Chit Chat
For a smart dude he's pretty damn ugly.... Thanks ? And speaking of cool, I saw a couple does run between your garage and those pines the other day.... Sent from my XT1650 using Tapatalk -
Well now u have my attention. So... Was that an invite ? I would love to see Tom try and get his little feather in my hat... Sent from my XT1650 using Tapatalk

I'd bet that may 1 comes around and that 125 flock turns to 1, 2 or if your lucky.... 5. I do think our season could start a bit earlier but I like knowing that some hens are bred before Tom takes the dirt nap. With all the preds around alot of nests are robbed and poults killed. Now, if may 1st came and that same 125 is covering the field everyday across the state, than yes beef up the tags and extend the season. Any seasoned turkey hunter knows that a big winter/spring flock dissapears quickly and bagging a Tom is harder than it looks. Out of curiosity dmandoes, do you fill all your turkey tags both seasons, every year ? Serious question... Sent from my XT1650 using Tapatalk

Sometimes the nothing you find, is cool ! Finding cool in the nothing is half the reason I go out there ! Sent from my XT1650 using Tapatalk -
Probably is worth a shot for a 30# sea beast. U can reel and puke, I don't mind. Don't puke on me or in the boat and Ur good. Puke all you want. Bring it. Puking rally !!! Sent from my XT1650 using Tapatalk

I hope it passes. Will give mentors the opportunity to get kids out before they get totally sucked in by facespace and tablet time. Sent from my XT1650 using Tapatalk

Forester/Logger recommendations
TreeGuy replied to WNYBuckHunter's topic in Land Management, Food Plots and QDM
If you want top dollar and if you have some popl or sycamore etc which loggers usually won't take, the Amish can be a good option. I'm not a fan of how they operate but they can get you the most money compared to others. If you don't need top dollar for timber and want a more "professional" job, look elsewhere ! I'm nowhere near there but my favorite tool in locating new dirt is the onX maps app. Start grid searching areas by you, find a farmer with multiple parcels, and go knock on some doors. Good dirt doesn't come easy, so if you get in always do your best to check in and show your appreciation to the land owners. Goes a long way ! Sent from my XT1650 using Tapatalk

Sweet rig. I'm liking the string.... Not gonna lie I always like the look of those crazy colored strings like the bright yellows and greens. When the elite is due I'll be going pink. I have a big breast cancer awareness ribbon on the bow, for a friend of mine as Oct is awareness month. I think the pink string would go great. I'm comfortable with my manhood and ain't scared of the pink ! Sent from my XT1650 using Tapatalk

I know my uncle has an older rem 30-06 pump, lefty. He loves it. He shoots a bunch of long guns in right but when we hunt rifle area he's a pig in poop with that thing. You would think there would be more options out there for south paws. Sent from my XT1650 using Tapatalk

Wouldn't be the first time, won't be the last. Bring it on. But biz is anti guns for this trip so.... Btw biz, if your here a long weekend I'd be happy to get you on some kings in lake O. Can't guarantee a fish but can Def guarantee a fun trip Sent from my XT1650 using Tapatalk

Wny, I should have did some digging. The savage 115 / lightweight hunter is not a lefty. That stinks. Maybe you could just buy her a new dominant eye and have more selection for the future. Lol. Good luck on the purchase ! Sent from my XT1650 using Tapatalk

Bill, if that post offended you I think your in for a real surprise. It's kinda funny to me that you would even consider that offensive. Either way, sorry to fire you up with my comment, not my intentions. Growie actually did the same thing a few times, took my posts as some sort of rip or something. Search my posts, it should be pretty clear how I roll. Now, back to the booby bar convo. I think I could prob make some calls and get Biz some of them hillbilly ho's lined up for a summer extravaganza. I will tell you though my friend, a city boy won't be able to keep up. Yee Yee. I have a local rod/gun club that might be able to accommodate a 3d and skeet shoot. They also have a bar/ BBQ setup. If this thing gets serious I'll stop by and see what they say. I also have a spot with plenty of room to shoot anything. I have an auto clay thrower that's tons of redneck fun. Sweet setting, but I'll have to blindfold everybody prior to entry. Let's set something up... I'd like to come this time. Not sure where or why I didn't make it. Maybe I wasn't invited... Treeguy crys in the corner Sent from my XT1650 using Tapatalk

I vote for a savage. The lightweight hunter is a phenomenal rifle, lightweight and a tack driver. I absolutely love mine and the recoil won't be horrible even though it's so light. Super easy to carry around and also easily moved around in a blind. You should be able to score one in your price range. Second would be a tikka. Gonna cost a couple bucks more but another great rifle. Sent from my XT1650 using Tapatalk
