  7. As I stated... I'm no lawyer and neither is my local gun dealer, just what he told me. Not really worth the BS if you got popped Sent from my XT1650 using Tapatalk
  8. Take this as just treeguy, who is not a lawyer, or claiming to know the safe act front to back.... I called my local gun shop and confirmed that the patriot pin / mag lock is NOT compliant in NYS. This was designed for California's laws that state the gun must be taken apart to remove mag. Nysa states that the gun cannot accept a detachable mag, ever. Having the mag pinned is our only option ( other than stock or thumb spur ). I was informed that there's been at least 15 arrests ( one in East aurora) from the patriot pin. Not sure of convictions as the case in EA was overturned, but still a hassle. Be smart fellas, that's all... It's NY and unfortunately we have to abide. Sent from my XT1650 using Tapatalk
  9. Fixed mag is the way to go. It kinda sucks for unloading but its a PIA I'm willing to deal with to tote the ar out in the woods. Spur or thordsten just plain suck. Sent from my XT1650 using Tapatalk
  10. Does he still get his virgins ??? Nice job though, dumbass. Sent from my XT1650 using Tapatalk
  11. I use mine for fur. When the need for follow ups comes,I appreciate the steadiness of the bull, to me it's worth the extra couple pounds to carry. Def agree on the glass too, most AR have the ability to drive tacks, but without good glass your wasting potential. I had a cheap scope to get me by when I first bought my rifle, it did the job but when I put the vortex on I went from 3" groups at 100 to 1" groups. Sent from my XT1650 using Tapatalk
  12. Cool ! Was hoping that there's not alot of weekday action cause of bass opener. I'll definitely look you up. I assume I'll at least see you on the water. Watch out for boat named "nympho" Sent from my XT1650 using Tapatalk
  13. No more super bulls. They are a heavy beast but don't move after trigger pull. Cool rig ! Lmk if you ever want to part with it....lol Sent from my XT1650 using Tapatalk
  14. I own a DPMS. Sweet 16. Did lots and lots of research and was my best bang for my buck. Did a 2stage "varmint" trigger from rock River (2.5#) and she's a shooter. I'll bet it was 500$ less than the rem, with the trigger job. If I bought another, it would be rock river. Don't forget the other option to build your own, where you can grab parts from any manufacturer and do it your way 100% Sent from my XT1650 using Tapatalk
  15. June 19-28th. East side, south shore Sent from my XT1650 using Tapatalk
  16. Card pull last week.... Bucks still holding. Couple good ones survived. Yotes, coons, rabbits, squirrels yada yada. Sent from my XT1650 using Tapatalk
  17. What are you looking to do with it ? I have shot the rem and wasn't really impressed. It's "cool" that rem is in the ar platform but like I said, so many other options out there for less money. Make the trip to DD's ranch in Alden. All safe act legal and typically has alot in stock. If not he can get anything available. Sent from my XT1650 using Tapatalk
  18. The Rem is an ar platform. Bolts are a whole nother world... Sent from my XT1650 using Tapatalk
  19. What area do you live in ? Sent from my XT1650 using Tapatalk
  20. For sure !! I'll be after the eyes and maybe some bass. Will also have to find some pockets holding panfish so the kids can jig Sent from my XT1650 using Tapatalk
  21. We are doing our first family vacation to Oneida. Rented a house with a small private beach and dock space to park the boat. Really really looking forward to it !! Hopefully my son and I can catch dinner ! Sent from my XT1650 using Tapatalk
  22. Nicer rigs out there for less money. Are you set on that gun or getting a deal ? Sent from my XT1650 using Tapatalk
  23. Yi. Interesting. Be sure to post some footage. I'd be curious to see how it does ! Sent from my XT1650 using Tapatalk
  24. Serious accomplishments in his life. Rip Sent from my XT1650 using Tapatalk
