  1. lol, still went out there even tho everyone said not to? I'm glad you found him, that is a nice buck!
  2. Yes, statewide. But some areas have a season for them: http://www.dec.ny.gov/docs/wildlife_pdf/huntingseasons1112.pdf
  3. lol, that is funny... I could tell you a similar story about my grandma that grew up in Nebraska, but I dont think its appropriate for the forums...
  4. Like Guides said, people are using night vision.Dont get me wrong, I think its a dumb law, ignorant even and dangerous. I'm glad NY doesnt have such a law.
  5. I agree with you, but like he said, it stood there for 15 minutes before walking off. It wasnt spooked or on an adrenaline fueled death dash. So, hopefully he recovers it with out too much hassle.
  6. Nice buck in the pic, hope the new scent works out for you
  7. No, you cant play a blu-ray in a regular DVD player. You CAN watch a DVD in a blu-ray player tho. They are equipped with both red and blue lasers. The reason its called a blu-ray player is because it literally uses a blue laser to read the info on the disc. The reason for this is because a blue laser has a shorter wave length then a red laser and there for, more data can be squeezed onto the disc. Thus making it possible to fit HD video and audio on a DVD sized disc. Think of the lines/grooves on an old record. It uses a diamond tip to play the music. If you used a pebble to try and play the record, its not going to work. Same thing with a blu-ray disc, the red laser that reads DVDs is too big and can not read the fine "grooves" (or dips and saddles they are usually referred to) of a blu-ray disc.
  8. Good looking cat. I see there tracks around but have never seen one yet...
  9. You're a nice guy... I not sure I would have been so nice.
  10. I took a look for you, there is a small patch of state land about 10 miles east of Delhi. 10 miles south west is a bigger patch, and then another patch to the west about 15 miles.
  11. Use this map tool to find state land, it works great! http://www.dec.ny.gov/outdoor/45415.html
  12. Very nice... im still waiting for something to show up on my cam... Good luck!
  13. I would try some different primers before I got the drill out on a new breech plug. Sometimes its just that simple. I noticed that Federal and Winchester work fine in my rifle where CCI are tight and always get stuck. Also, try snapping the gun on a stuck primer, might help let it loose. I never owned a MU plug, but it is kinda crappy you would have to drill a brand new one...
  14. Are they the right size primers?
  15. lol, that is just insane... what happened after that?
