  1. Looks good man! We used to make sausage, but no one wants to do anything any more around here... We let the butcher make it now a days
  2. You can tell him I said he doesn't look tough at all... He just looks angry that he shot a nice buck. Just plain looks strange... Nice buck tho, lol
  3. I have a bunch of different stuff from tiger stripes, to old school woodland, to digital woodland, and all types of mossy oak and look-a-likes.... Realtree AP is one that I wear most tho
  4. I feel like this thread is gonna turn into a real flame war, but lets see if people can be mature. I lost 2 deer, both with a gun. One was a high spike, the first deer I ever took a shot at, I was 16 I think. It was facing right towards me about 50 yards away. I shot right in the center of his chest and he fell over turned around got up and took off. My father was hunting several hundred yards away and came over about 15 minutes later to see if it was me who shot. He said he kicked up a deer that was laying down and there was a 6 inch pool of blood where it was. We went back to the spot where he jumped the deer. We wanted to wait to track, but it was about an hour and a half before dark, and just started snowing/raining heavily as well. We heard that we kicked this deer up another 2 times before it ran into private property. We asked the land owners that night for permission to search for it the next morning and they granted it. We searched for hours and hours, unfortunately we never recovered him. The second deer was a monster buck. Long story short, I only found a few drops of blood from him, and he never stopped running for a couple miles before I lost the tracks in the snow.
  5. lolYou guys are gonna kill me... I was so busy, I totally forgot. I will post as soon as I do it.
  6. .223, 30-30, .35 and 30-06 all sighted in this weekend. As well as my friends and families guns. There was a lot of shooting going on saturday
  7. Less than usual... I have not kicked up as much as I usually do.
  8. Okay, I just read this entire thread. WOW! I spotlighted all night last night. I had a shotgun in the truck, unloaded, in a case. I spotted nice bucks. I didn't disturb any of them, they could care less that I shined a light at them. I spotted on state land as well as private property. I followed state regulations and laws. I even got out of the truck with my spotlight and went to the back of the truck, took out my shotgun, loaded it, walked into state land and shot a coon. Problem?
  9. Sounds good! I'll send you a message after deer season is through.
  10. bump = bumping a topic back up to the top by posting
  11. That is just pure insanity... I almost don't believe it.
  12. Same, when ever I put a card in that I just backed up, I use the camera to format it.EDIT: You also may want to check what the cameras max capacity for a card is. Mine is 2GB, if I put a larger card in, it corrupts all the files.
  13. Alright, I see what your saying now...All I'm saying is wearing some blaze orange can save your life. That fact, can not be ignored.
  14. Lets start with what you mean by this? "The stats about what the victim of the shooting was wearing only gives one perspective. I wonder if there is a correlation as to what the shooter is wearing too."I don't really get what you mean.
  15. The shooter is 100% at fault, 200% even! But if a little orange can save you from being shot by an idiot in the woods, why wouldn't you wear some?
