  1. Had a guy come down the road with the led light bar on in the middle of the afternoon. That shit should not be allowed on a vehicle, so bright and distracting. Why do you need that anyway???? I can imagine what its like at night.
  2. In the end it's just about going out and killing an animal to eat or put on your wall. Really not that important in life….guess as I get older the clearer I see things. lol take it all in stride.
  3. I have done sound editing and cinematography. This piece is very very good. The music could be a tad lower, I like the level of your voice. Your actual voice fits the piece perfectly. Well written and not over-done with special effects. If this is your first film I can't wait for the second, it brought me to a place that I love. Keep up the great work!!
  4. Such a large human population living next to the water. So much goes into our perfect lawns here on Long Island. Half of it gets washed down the storm drain and out to Long Island Sound. Nitrogen causes these algal blooms. Hell half the time the sewage treatment plant in Northport breaks a pipe and it all goes out into the bay. It all needs to be updated…..
  5. I try to stay on top of the oil every 3-4000 miles.
  6. Thanks Rob. Still driving good with no problems. You guys have been a big help!!
  7. Folks, I disconnected the negative lead to the battery. Let it sit for a half hour. Hooked it back up and started the truck. Engine light off and the idol is perfect. Voltage regulator is normal now. Now I will drive for a half hour to see what happens!!!!
  8. Yes 5.3 fuel injected. He changed out the injector today, no luck. The truck does have 157, 500 miles on it. The motor is strong for sure but I guess I should get ready to put some money into it?
  9. I own a 2007 Tahoe. I'm the original owner and the truck has been great. The truck is idling rough, check engine light is on and the stabiltrack goes off and says needs service. I had it at my garage today and the computer says #7 cylinder is missing. They changed the plug, wire and coil. Still has the same problem. Monday they will do a compression check and pull the valve cover. My guy is saying it could be the lifters that need replacing, he had to do it for his wife's Tahoe. If I go on line there are so many horror stories about this problem. Truck losing power, brakes and steering go out. Is there any of you that have had a similar problem with their Chevy truck? Any info would be appreciated! FL
  10. Hey Gramps happy birthday, I haven't said that it a long long time:)
  11. Walked my dog the other day down my road at the cabin. Found plenty of beer cans, plastic cups and 2 diapers all rolled up on the side of the road.
  12. I put out two trail cameras this weekend. My neighbors Dad was up turkey hunting and walked my property. He saw 4 different bucks in one sit. The 4th buck was a big one. This is from an old timer, "he had 8 inch soda cans growing out of his head". I hope to get some pictures of this guy!! So the quest begins……..
  13. Found three nests this weekend all in the hedgerows around the corn fields.
  14. I do the H and H every trip to the cabin. Harriman to Howard about 4 hrs on rt 17 each way. Saw way too many adult dead deer this trip and almost hit two during my travels. Usually see a few fawns with the adult does but not this time. Didn't see any dead fawns either which is unusual.
  15. Bad loss last night, better pull it out in Tampa……….
  16. What an awesome morning, 32 degrees no wind and bright sunshine. Welcome to God's country!
  17. At the cabin they are calling for high 20's tonight. Wood stove is cranking just about to BBQ bring it on…..
  18. Letting my kids have a half day at school then leaving at 10:00. Going to mow the property and tend to the bottom field we are clearing. Headed over to Glass fest in Corning on Saturday which is always good. Kind of frustrated that the closing on the Pepperidge Farm route got pushed back a month. I have been working with the owner for the last two weeks and all is going well. Over the weekend Ill put out my giant American flag to honor those who have fallen serving our country, that is the most important aspect of the weekend!!!!
